Vacation is officially coming to an end ❤️✈️

Over the last couple of weeks, our family had the opportunity to visit The Netherlands 🇳🇱 and London 🇬🇧, and it was an amazing time.

One of the most special parts was getting to visit THREE of the FOUR amazing au pairs our family has welcomed through the program. Seeing where they grew up, exploring their hometowns, meeting family members, playing games unique to their culture, and sharing that experience with our kids was something really special. It reminded us that being an au pair is so much more than childcare. It’s about building relationships that become family all over the world. ❤️

We also spent time in London soaking up some culture, history, and of course taking the kids to a couple incredible West End shows 🎭. Between trains, planes, museums, canals, walking miles every day (their least favorite park), and eating too much, it was busy... but the best kind of busy.

I’m definitely sad to see this trip come to an end, but I’m also excited to get back home, back to my patients, and back to the clinic next week. And then it’s right back into teaching with more programs next week as well. 💉🦋

Travel is amazing, but there’s something special about coming home too. 🛏️

Closing out Nurses Week feeling incredibly grateful for this profession and the AMAZING nurses I’ve had the privilege to meet in aesthetics training all over the USA (and globally) 💉✨

Seriously… the level of knowledge, grit, compassion, talent, and hustle in this industry is humbling. Some of the smartest, funniest, hardest working people I know are nurses. We balance science + artistry, patient care + business, and somehow still manage to show up for everyone around us every single day ❤️

This picture is from our graduation from TWENTY years ago 🥹🎓 and honestly… not much has changed except maybe a little more caffeine, a few more responsibilities, and significantly more tox and a dash of filler 💉😂✨

A special shoutout and dedication to my BFF from nursing school, Carrie 🫶 (.medspa ). My ride or die. My daily 8am phone call on the drive into work to vent, laugh, problem solve, spiral for 3 minutes, then lock back in 😂 Thank you for being the kind of friend who reminds me where I came from and why I started this journey in the first place.

To all my nurse friends in aesthetics and beyond… thank you for what you do. The long days, the emotional labor, the continuing education, the passion, the patience, the heart behind it all. You inspire me daily and I’m lucky to surround myself with people like you 💕

Lips + chin go together like peanut butter & jelly 💋✨ — one without the other just isn’t the full picture.

Today’s transformation was all about balance, not just volume 👇

💉 Treatment breakdown:
• Lips: Smooth for soft, hydrated, natural movement
• Chin: Form for structure and projection
• Chin shadow: strategic layering of Form + Smooth to soften and blend
• Tox: to the masseter, jawline + lip flip for refinement and support

The second image shows the plan — because great results don’t happen randomly. They’re mapped out with intention 🧠✍️

This is where my understanding anatomy + tissue depth makes ALL the difference. These next-gen HA fillers shine when they’re placed in the right plane, for the right purpose. That’s how I get outcomes that look effortless, not overdone 🙌

Still processing everything from the London ICON Experience 🇬🇧✨ — and honestly, it was one of the most impactful educational trips I’ve ever been part of.

Learning alongside and from through was a reminder that true aesthetic medicine is both science AND art. Evidence-based, intentional, and rooted in understanding the face as a whole — not just treating lines, but enhancing harmony.

What stood out most though? The people.
Dermatologists, NPs, PAs, nurses… all in one room — and not a single ego in sight. Just collaboration, shared knowledge, and a genuine desire to elevate each other. That kind of environment is rare… and powerful.

It was incredibly reassuring to see that the way I approach aesthetic medicine — grounded in science, full-face assessment, and natural outcomes — is aligned with how it’s being practiced on a global level. 🌍

Huge thank you to the Evolus team, especially .academy.lisaotis and , for curating an experience where every single detail was thoughtfully executed. From education to environment — it was next level.

This is what growth in our industry should look like:

If you’re new here — welcome.

I’m an aesthetic injector and educator focused on safe, evidence-based aesthetic medicine. 🧬💉

You probably won’t see me doing seasonal headshots holding syringes in martini glasses 🍸 or popping champagne with filler boxes.

I mean… does your OB-GYN take pictures with a speculum? 😂

You know what I do.

My background as a surgical first assist in the OR shaped how I approach aesthetics — with precision, anatomy, and safety first. But my love of makeup artistry and beauty brings the artistic eye needed to enhance natural features.

Science 🤝 Art.

As an educator, when you train with me the relationship doesn’t end when the class ends. You’ll get my number, and I’m always happy to be your “phone a friend.” 📱

Fair warning… sometimes I say bad words and things that make my mom say “I didn’t raise you like this.” 😅

California you were GOOD to me ☀️✈️🌴

Over the past few days I had the opportunity to teach 4️⃣ trainings across Southern California — from San Diego to Orange County — and it was an absolute blast meeting so many passionate injectors along the way. 💉🧠

One of the things I love most about teaching is that it never feels one-sided. Yes, I’m there to share clinical pearls, techniques, and evidence-based approaches… but I truly feel like I take away just as much as I give. The collaboration, the questions, the case discussions, and the energy in these rooms is what keeps pushing our industry forward. 🤝✨

It’s such a privilege to work with providers who are committed to elevating patient care and advancing aesthetic medicine together.

Thank you for having me at your regional meeting to share some of the latest evidence-based practices 📚🔬 and clinical pearls 💉 to share with your accounts. It’s always a privilege to collaborate with a group that is so committed to elevating education 🎓 and supporting providers in delivering safe, thoughtful, and results-driven aesthetic care.

Education isn’t a side quest for me — it’s the foundation of everything I do. 🧠✨

When you see me training injectors, mentoring new providers, or teaching for and — what you’re really seeing is a commitment to raising the standard of care in aesthetics.

For providers: I don’t just teach techniques. I teach how to think, how to assess, how to stay safe, and how to create results that stand the test of time. And most importantly — I don’t disappear when the training is over. My delegates know they get real support, real feedback, and real mentorship long after they leave my treatment room. 🤝

For patients: This is why who you choose matters. When your injector is trusted to train other injectors, speak on stages, and educate nationally, it means you’re being treated by someone who lives and breathes this craft — not someone chasing trends.

I’m incredibly proud to work alongside and to be part of Evolus Academy with some of the best in the industry, and to mentor new injectors through as they build safe, confident, ethical providers.

This industry moves fast. Education should never stop. And neither should support. 💉🧠

🎨✨ Injecting is art. Period. ✨🎨

I’m obsessed with this blush technique because it proves something I’ve said forever:

👉 The best aesthetic results don’t come from formulas… they come from artistic vision.

Look at how he places blush:
• Starts at the apple 🍎
• Lifts into the under-eye transition zone
• Blends into the contour of the face
• Never drops below the nostril

That’s facial contouring. Just with makeup.

And honestly? This is exactly how I think about filler, tox, and facial balancing. 💉✨
We’re not just filling lines. We’re sculpting, lifting, and shaping in 3D.

💡 This is literally how I use in practice:
• Evolysse Form = deep structural volume & framework 🏗️
• Evolysse Smooth = superficial refinement in the transition zones ✨

Same philosophy. Same map. Different medium.

Great injectors should think like:
