Joseph A. Moran, passed away Monday February 9, 2026. He was born on March 13, 1933, and raised in the Miners Mills section of Wilkes-Barre, the son of the late Beatrice and James A. Moran, Sr. A 1950 graduate of Coughlin High School, he served as senior class president, earned varsity letters in football, wrestling, and track, and achieved the rank of Eagle Scout.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 21, at Saints Peter and Paul Church, 13 Hudson Road, Plain, Father John C. Lambert, Pastor officiating. A livestream of the funeral Mass will be available on the parish page.

Interment will follow in Saint Mary’s Cemetery, Hanover Township.

Family and friends may call on Friday, February 20, from 3 to 6 p.m. at Kielty-Moran Funeral Home, 87 Washington Avenue, Plymouth, or on Saturday, February 21, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Joseph A. Moran Scholarship Fund, c/o The Luzerne Foundation, 34 S. River Street, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702.

Raymond Joseph Gimble of Larksville, passed away peacefully at home at the age of 61 on Monday, January 19, 2026. Born in Wilkes Barre, PA on November 10, 1964. He was the son of Raymond F Gimble and Elizabeth Rock Gimble.

A graduate of Wyoming Valley West and went on to be a supervisor at Downing Garment (Leslie Fay) and later a corrections employee at SCI Graterford and later transferred SCI Dallas where he retired.

His true companions besides his wife, who loved him immensely were his two Chows Zeus & Apollo where they loved their car rides and long walks. Ray had many friends that were very dear to him. Ray will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. Ray was a member of Larksville American Legion Post 655 as a SAL member for the past 29 years where he volunteered his time to his favorite organization.

Ray is survived by his wife Florence Gimble (Larksville), father Raymond F. Gimble (Larksville) son Joseph Gimble (Scranton), daughter Jennifer Gimble (Dallas) and brother Corey Gimble (Scranton)

He was preceded in death by his mother Elizabeth Rock Gimble, paternal and maternal grandparents and many aunts and uncles.

Loretta M. Jola, 88, of Hunlock Creek, PA passed away peacefully on January 15, 2026.

She was born on February 28, 1937 in Plymouth, PA and was the daughter of John and Loretta (Butcher) Hogan.

Loretta graduated from St. Vincent High School (Plymouth, PA). She was a member of All Saints Parish in Plymouth.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, John P. Jola, her parents, and brothers, John Hogan, Joseph Hogan, James Hogan, Eugene Hogan and sister, Marie McCue.

Loretta is survived by her four sons: John (Elena), James (Regina), Jerry (Lisa), and Jeff; her grandchildren: John (partner Jenny), Jacob (fiancee Lianna), Jessica (Harry) Schlichter, Ryan (Stephanie), Kyle (Rachel), Alyssa, Kyla Decker, Jakob (partner Rachel), and Michael; eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Loretta lived her life caring for and supporting everyone in her family.

Visitation for family and friends will be on Tuesday, January 20 from 8-10 am at Kielty-Moran Funeral Home, 87 Washington Avenue in Plymouth, PA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am at All Saints Parish in Plymouth, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Loretta's name can be made to a charity of the donor's choice.

James Edward "Bubby" Kratz, 78, retired Air Force technical sergeant, passed while in the care of Commonwealth Wilkes-Barre General Hospital on Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2025.

A visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Kielty-Moran Funeral Home Inc., 87 Washington Street, Plymouth. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday in All Saints Parish, 66 Willow Street. Mass will be officiated by the Rev. Robert Sickler. Interment will be held at a later date in St. Mary's Cemetery, with military honors.
