Dr. Trecartin has served as BID Plymouth’s interim CMO since June and brings deep clinical expertise, proven leadership, and a strong commitment to patient-centered care. A longtime member of our team, he has led impactful initiatives to improve care coordination, reduce unnecessary admissions, and enhance efficiency—while supporting our physicians and care teams every step of the way.

We’re proud to share that BID Plymouth has been named one of the nation’s Top Hospitals on the Forbes Top Hospitals 2026 list!

This recognition is rooted in what matters most to us — delivering outstanding patient outcomes, from safety and survival to quality and experience. Out of approximately 5,400 hospitals nationwide, only 253 earned a 5-star rating, and we’re honored to be one of just four hospitals in Massachusetts to receive this distinction.

BID Plymouth’s holiday supply drive in support of the Plymouth Area Coalition for the Homeless was a wonderful success! 💙

Together, our team donated 53 jackets, 15 pairs of boots, 8 blankets, and 18 sets of sheets to help support local families. Thank you to everyone who contributed and helped make a difference during this season of giving!

In honor of Lung Cancer Awareness Month (November), BID-Plymouth recently held an event at the Plymouth Center for Active Living to discuss the importance of screening for lung cancer. Thanks to Thoracic Physician Assistant Jenn McColgan, who oversees the Mobile Integrated Health program at BID Plymouth, in addition to Lung Cancer education and awareness events in the community.

Taking care of your health is not always easy, especially when it involves talking about past or current smoking. At BID Plymouth, we want you to know this: you deserve care, understanding, and the best tools to protect your well-being.

BID Plymouth offers low-dose CT scans for people who are at higher risk for lung cancer. This simple screening can find lung cancer early—long before symptoms appear—when it is most treatable. A few minutes for a scan could make a lifetime of difference. Speak with your provider or reach out to our team to learn more about lung cancer screening at BID Plymouth.

The holiday season officially kicked off at BID Milton with our annual employee turkey giveaway! 🦃✨

Thanks to our generous team, we were also able to donate 152 turkeys to local partners—including the Randolph and Weymouth Food Pantries, Randolph Public Schools, and Interfaith Social Services—and take part in a cereal drive for the Milton Food Pantry. All in all, a wonderful start to a season filled with gratitude, community, and giving!
