Emma L Sims, 85, of Larksville, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on March 15, 2026.
Emma was known for her warm heart, strong spirit, and deep love of her family. She enjoyed going to the bingo and casino, but nothing brought her more joy than being surrounded by her children, grandchildren and the many generations of family she helped build. Her laughter, wisdom and caring nature will be remembered by all who knew her.
Emma was preceded in death by the love of her life William R. Sims Sr., son Gilbert “Gil” Sims, her father William Barber, her mother(s) Julia Redmond and Eleanor Barber, son in law Robert Castronova and several brothers and sisters.
Emma is survived by her loving children, daughter Roberta Castronova, son William “Billy” Sims Jr. and his wife Betty, and son Robert “Lou” Sims. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Richard, Jason, Shannon, Jeremy and Jennifer.
She is further survived by her sisters Alice, Helen, Lisa and Pat, and her brothers Teddy, Gilbert, Frank “Bo”, several nieces and nephews.
Emma was the center of a large and loving family including 18 great grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense pride and joy to her life.
Emma’s legacy lives on through the family she loved so deeply and the many memories they will forever hold in their hearts.

Judith Ann Stark 84 of Larksville passed away on Saturday, March 14, . Judy was born in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital to the late Carl and Charlotte Thorne. She graduated from Plymouth high school and worked and retired from the Social Security administration. Her previous employers were the Royal bake shop and united Penn bank. In addition to her parents, she was also proceeded in death by her son, Jay Stark, and aunt and uncle James and Sara Jane Toms. Surviving are her longtime friends and roommates Eve Ann Sabol and Joan Graham of Larksville, where she resided. They were also known among friends as the Golden girls or the round house gang. She will also be missed by her furry friends., Cassie, Ginger, and Jules. Judy was a longtime member of the Wilkes-Barre dog training club. She also enjoyed her many trips to the casino, including both local and the East Coast. Judy liked to travel and was also a snowbird. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 18 at 11 AM from the Williams-Hagen Funeral Home at 114 W. Main St., Plymouth PA. Visitation will be from 9 AM. To 11 AM prior to the Funeral Service in internment  will be in the Oak lawn cemetery, Hanover Township. Wilnette “GiGi” Davis, 86, of Edwardsville, passed Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2025 at home. Born Oct. 15, 1939 in Richmond, VA she was the daughter of the late Evelyn Greene. She later moved to Newark, NJ where she raised 3 children and worked for the State of New York Office of Mental and Developmental Disabilities. Moving to NEPA to be closer to her family after retirement.

GiGi was an active member of Mt Zion Baptist Church in Wilkes-Barre, where she served as an usher for many years. GiGi lived her life to the fullest and was instantly loved by everyone she met. A beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, GiGi will be deeply missed.

Proceded in death by her son, Terrance Davis, brother, Charles Greene and 2 great grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters, Shaqon Davis, Kitisha Davis; grandchildren Kalile Davis and wife Jessie, Tasia Moore, Henry Moore III, Davasha Charles; and 4 great grandchildren.

A funeral service will take place 11:00 am, Saturday January 10 at the Mount Zion Baptist Church 105 Hill Street Wilkes-Barre. Family and friends may call at the church from 10 AM till time of service. A burial will be at the convenience of the family in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family.

Kathryn A Prochaska Rushton passed away peacefully December 31,2025 surrounded by her family.

Born Sept 26,1950 She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Arlene Beynon Prochaska.

Kathryn attended LCCC & Penn State working in home Nursing and Hospice Care.

She was preceded in death by her son Daniel, a baby brother Jonah, her Sister Elizabeth (Libby)DiCrecio, brother Joseph Prochaska and her Uncle William Beynon.

Kathryn is survived by her husband of 60 years James Owen Rushton, Sons James T. Rushton

Sylvan Lake,Christopher D. Rushton , Hanover Twp.,Thomas and Christine Rushton, Hunlock Creek, Sister Johanna Lambert Trczinski, Plymouth, and brother David Prochaska, Nanticoke, 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, many wonderful nieces and nephews.

Robert William Ogin Jr. 86, of Kingston passed away peacefully Sunday at home. Born July 22, 1939, he was the son of the Late Gertrude Christmas and Robert William Ogin Sr. Robert was a graduate of Plymouth high school and was a resident of Kingston , he served in the army reserve and was a member of the Westmoor church of Christ. He was formally employed by the sea aisle sportswear and for over 50 years at Meekers mobile which is now Forty Fort L**e in Forty Fort. Robert preceeded in death by his wife, Jane Mary Cunningham. He is survived by his son, Robert William.Ogin III and his wife Mikaleen, daughter, Cheryl Haines and husband, Edward, grandchildren, Tiffany Markey, Robert W, Ogin IV, Alexis, Ryan Haines and Jared Haines, four great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Martin(Marty) S Davis 79, of Wilkes -Barre passed away Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at home.

Born November 13,1946 in Wilkes-Barre He was the son of the late John and Florence
Martin Davis.

Marty was a graduate of Meyers High School, a member of the Dorranceton Methodist Church and was an Electrician with IBEW #163.

He is survived by his Loving Wife of 48 years Kathy Broody Davis, Children, Jeffrey Comiskey and wife Betsy, Lisa Robins and husband Michael, Marni Ryan and husband Scott. Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, his sisters Marsha Tyson and Meda Brieling. His many cousins, nieces and nephews that will miss the special times they spent together.

Rachael Hillard Jones passed away peacefully July 23, 2025.

Rachael was preceded in death by her husband Edward Jones Sr.

She is survived by her daughter Kathryn Robins and husband Nolde, son Edward Jones Jr.and wife Anita. Grandson Mark Jones, and 5 great grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be held Monday at 11:00 in St. Peters Lutheran Church 1000 S Main St. Wilkes-Barre .
A Viewing will be held at the Church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Service.

Arrangements by Williams-Hagen Funeral Home, Plymouth.

Elaine Ruth Weaver of Plymouth PA, 77, passed away on July 18, 2025 at Allied Hospice after a long battle with interstitial lung disease. Elaine was born June 26, 1948 in Philadelphia. She was the daughter of Miriam Pollard and Charles V. Weaver of Plymouth. After the death of her father the family moved back to Plymouth.
Elaine is survived by her loving husband Robert, son Robert Weaver and daughter Victoria Weaver.
Elaine was preceded in death by her brother Charles Edward Steever and David William Steever.
