What started in 1997 as a single primary care practice in Plymouth, NH, Mid-State Health Center has grown with one mission in mind: to ensure every patient in our rural communities has access to the care they need, close to home. 🩺

In places where access is often limited, we’ve built a model of care that meets people where they are, delivering comprehensive, coordinated, and compassionate care under one community-focused umbrella.

We’re proud of how far we’ve come and even more excited for what’s ahead. 💙

📢 In case you missed it! Mid-State Health CEO Robert MacLeod recently joined Ed Shanshala, CEO of Ammonoosuc Community Health Services for an important conversation about the future of rural health care in New Hampshire.

They discussed how federal Medicaid policy changes, ongoing workforce shortages, and other system-wide pressures could impact access to care for our rural communities.

🎥 Catch the full conversation to learn what these challenges mean—and what we can do to protect health care access in the Granite State.

🤔 Curious how MRI bore size makes a difference? The bore is the opening you lie in during an MRI—and the width can make a big impact on your comfort. Our new scanner features an extra-wide 80cm bore, offering more space, greater comfort, and a less claustrophobic experience compared to traditional machines.

For reference, the standard hospital MRI has a 60cm bore. Mid-State’s is 80cm—the largest available in New England at this time!
