Assuming all goes as planned, the last day in the office before baby will be this Thursday, December 12th. The office will then be closed until January 22nd, at which point hours will be Monday 1-5, Tuesday 8:30-12, Wednesday 1-5, and Thursday 8:30-12. Starting at the end of February the plan is to return to our regular hours. We will keep you updated!

Gratitude is one of the simplest yet most powerful practices that can transform your perspective on life. It’s about acknowledging and appreciating the good things, big or small, that make life meaningful. When we practice gratitude, we shift our focus from what we lack to what we have.

Many women experience morning sickness during the first trimester of pregnancy. Despite being called "morning" sickness, it can happen anytime day or night. Symptoms generally consist of nausea, vomiting, and acid reflux.

Acupuncture and acupressure can be very helpful is calming the digestive system to reduce these symptoms. SeaBands use acupressure on the point call Pericardium 6 (PC 6). The point is located about 3 finger widths above the wrist crease between the two tendons. If you don't have SeaBands, try putting pressure on the point for a minute or two several times a day or when symptoms show up.

About Us

At Healing Lotus Acupuncture, we offer great holistic care to help you get back on track with the life you want. Our licensed acupuncturist, Stephanie Beckel, has had great success helping people just like you feel better!

Chinese medicine can be used to treat ailments from a “root” (the main underlying cause) or “branch” (the symptoms you see and feel) standpoint. We think it is not only important, but also necessary to treat both the roots and the branches associated with each health concern so that we can achieve optimal results that last! That means that we look at your body as whole, and tailor treatments to each individual. We can also offer tips on how to improve your lifestyle and maintain your health outside of the clinic so that you can be your own biggest health supporter and prevent future issues!
