Meet Raya! She's an insightful 15-year-old who loves to keep herself busy and has a variety of interests. She enjoys swimming, horseback riding, dancing and reading. You can also find her doing art, listening to music, or going to the library! She has a close bond with her sister and would need to be in touch with her and foster family when she's adopted. Our amazing team just got back from the MSSA 2026 Annual Conference, and they are excited about all of the events and speakers who shared their knowledge and experience! MSSA (Minnesota Social Service Association) is a premier gathering for health and human services professionals, featuring nationally recognized speakers and cutting-edge educational sessions. We had some great conversations with our peers and enjoyed our time together!

We are proud of our Youth Council members who attended Foster Care Day at the Minnesota State Capitol. This significant event brings together youth, parents, foster families, and partners to advocate for the welfare of children in foster care.

Our youth had the platform to have a voice on the issues they face in the foster care system. Organized by the MN Youth Leadership Council, this day is designed to ensure that the voices of young people are heard and that their perspectives are considered in the legislative process.

Frankie, a student in our STAY program, shared her foster care story with those at the event, and was excitedly surprised that her former foster mom came to support her!

Meet Daniel! He's a funny, creative and friendly pre-teen that loves dogs and is looking for his forever family! Daniel enjoys one-on-one attention from adults and generally gets along well with peers his age. He loves making people laugh, basketball, football, video games, chess, Legos and much more.

Daniel is open to most family settings but would do best in a two-parent home. He'd love a family with other children and dogs. It is important that his future family is trauma-informed and committed to maintaining therapeutic services.
