Join us for our Beef & Noodle Drive-Thru Dinner on Friday, November 14th from 11:30 am - 1:30 pm in front of Miller's Senior Living Community (assisted living side).

All proceeds go to Operation Quiet Comfort to help support our troops. This is a free will donations event. Give what you can and enjoy a delicious meal while making a difference! Let's come together as a community to show our appreciation and support for those who serve!

Would you like to take a vacation, but are worried about who would take care of Mom or Dad? Miller's Merry Manor offers respite care. For a minimum of 5 days for a stay, your loved one can have round the clock care. With the holidays approaching you can now make plans with no worries about their care.

There are some things that need to be in place before a respite stay, so if you are interested in the process please contact Robin at 574-936-9981. Robin can set up a tour and answer any questions about respite care.

Friday the staff at Plymouth really got into the Halloween spirit! Even some of the residents dressed up! We had the whole cast from the Wizard of Oz (on a yellow brick road no less), Thing One and Thing Two, S'mores, a clown and witch, a fox, a referee and a nerd, a Charlie Brown Halloween, Snow White, and some cute Halloween shirts. Anything to make the residents smile! 🎃👻

Miller's Merry Manor - Plymouth and Miller's Merry Manor - Mooresville received the Bronze Award for Quality from the American Health Care Association. Our Executive Director, Bryan Zehr, accepted the award for our Plymouth facility at the AHCA National Conference. Congratulations to our campus! We could not do it without all our wonderful employees!

We got very spooky for Halloween! 🎃👻 The staff went all out on decorating the units. Lisa brought in sloppy joes and five different kinds of her delightful cupcakes. There were key lime, strawberry, carrot, German chocolate, and chocolate with Reese's peanut butter cups!

Thursday is Bingo Day at the Plymouth campus. Bingo is by far the most popular activity in the building! Residents can win a variety of prizes: snacks, pop, puzzles, and activity books.

Last Friday Plymouth held it's annual chili cook-off. There were seven delicious entries and some yummy cornbread. It is always interesting to see how many different ways people make their chili. Lisa's chili was the clear winner, but the other six finished within a vote or two of the others.

Laurie from Traditions Hospice came to help pick a winner and so did Abbie from Gentiva Hospice. Several members of the Plymouth community got in on the fun. We will be having an appetizer contest in January. Be sure to watch for the date so you can try some great appetizers!

This past Saturday was Plymouth's Trunk or Treat. The Plymouth team went as the Scooby Doo squad. We got lots of compliments on how fun our costumes were. We even got a picture with a little Scooby Doo and Daphne. It was a little chilly, but there were still a lot of happy kids running around. We are already thinking about our "theme" for next year!

Ron just had a birthday. Plymouth's most excellent baker made him a birthday cake to celebrate. If you have not been lucky enough to try a cake or cupcakes made by Lisa, you are missing out. Lisa tries to make sure that the residents get a very delicious celebration.

Miller's is continuing to celebrate National Physical Therapy Month. Miller's offers therapy for rehab, home health care, outpatient therapy, and for long term care residents that need to get a little stronger for better quality of life.
