On Monday, June 16, Harbor Health will host a drop-in MassHealth Enrollment Event!! The event will take place 10 am -3 pm at Harbor Community Health Center – Plymouth, 10 Cordage Park Circle, Suite 115. Enrollment staff from MassHealth will offer assistance with applications and questions regarding coverage. ALL ARE WELCOME!! You do not have to be a Harbor Health patient to get help from MassHealth - this event is open to the community! PLUS: If you need a new primary care provider or would like to learn about Harbor Health PACE, our health center and PACE team members can assist! The team at Harbor Health wants to make sure you can still get the healthcare services you need!! ❤ DID YOU KNOW… that Harbor Health offers video appointments? Some people call this kind of appointment a “telehealth visit” or “virtual care.” If you are not able to come in for an in-person appointment, please call the health center to ask about switching to a telehealth visit.

THANK YOU to State Rep. Kathy LaNatra for her recent visit to Harbor Community Health Center-Plymouth!! We welcomed the State Representative to the health center and gave her a tour of our expanded location, featuring a new waiting area, more exam rooms, and a patient pharmacy (coming soon!). We also presented the Representative with our Healthy Community Champion Award to thank her for her dedicated support for our health center and making local, affordable healthcare more available to everyone in our community.❤

Getting enough nutritious food is essential to our overall health and well-being. Yet according to The Greater Boston Food Bank, 1 in 3 Massachusetts adults reported household food insecurity. The Food Pantry at Harbor Health makes it easier for individuals and families to get the healthy food they need in the communities served by Harbor Health’s community health centers and Harbor Health PACE - including an emergency food access pantry at Harbor Community Health Center-Plymouth. And thanks to generous donations from organizations, businesses, and individuals, we distributed over 305,000 pounds of healthy, nutritious food in 2024 – the most distributed in our food pantry’s 30+-year history!! There’s still time to register for the Empowering Caregivers Panel on Wednesday, March 19 from 9am-10:30am at the Harbor Health PACE day center in Brockton!! This free event hosted by Harbor Health's Elder Service Plan includes a discussion on helping caregivers to plan for, navigate, and sustain care for elder loved ones. We wanted to express our gratitude to all of the AMAZING partners, local businesses, volunteers, and individuals who helped Harbor Health support the health and well-being of every member of our community this Fall!!❤ THANK YOU to partners like the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute Mammogram Van which made a special trip to Harbor Community Health Center-Plymouth and Cordage Park for providing parking lot space to help our patients get important breast cancer screenings…. And to local businesses and individuals like Jordan, the store manager at the Stop & Shop on Freeport Ave. in , who generously donated gravy and spices for our holiday food program…. And to volunteers like Hannah & Aly, nursing students from Emmanuel College doing clinical hours at St. Brendan's Elementary, who helped students organize a food drive for the Food Pantry at Harbor Health. We are grateful for YOU and the difference you made in the lives of our patients and clients!! HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!
