We recently completed initial hazardous materials training for Emergency Response Team (ERT) members at the Ford Motor Company facility in Chihuahua.

Our instructors recently completed Lithium-Ion Battery Emergency training for members of the Emergency Response Team at Ford's Global Technology & Business Center in Mexico.

This training is designed to provide firefighters with the theoretical and practical knowledge to support external agencies in responding to emergencies within their facility.

This past Saturday, firefighters from the Alpena City Firefighters L623 and Lincoln Township, hosted by Alpena Community College, participated in an Introduction to Rope Rescue. This workshop culminating with the operation of a two-rope system to lower and raise a rescuer. It was a great review for some and a new experience for others, with everyone benefiting from the training.
