This past Saturday, firefighters from the Alpena City Firefighters L623 and Lincoln Township, hosted by Alpena Community College, participated in an Introduction to Rope Rescue. This workshop culminating with the operation of a two-rope system to lower and raise a rescuer. It was a great review for some and a new experience for others, with everyone benefiting from the training.
