Machine Rescue Operations for Firefighters

Registration now open for sessions in Plymouth, MI.

Sessions available:
January 19-21
April 13-15
August 17-19
October 19-21

This 24-hour course is designed to provide emergency responders with the knowledge and skills required to remove individuals from conveyors, lift tables, gear drives, and other simple machinery. The program does not address techniques specific to large presses or robotic equipment. The classroom portion includes modules on hazards, medical considerations and incident command. The hands-on workshops include practice related to stabilization, energy control, disassembly, cutting, and lifting/spreading.
