GTS Pocahontas Is Now Equipped With an AED ❤️⚡️

At GTS Physical Therapy, taking care of people is what we do. That doesn’t just mean helping you move better—it means creating the safest environment possible for our patients, families, and team.

We’re proud to share that our clinic is now equipped with an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). While we hope we never have to use it, having an AED on-site is an important step in being prepared for the unexpected. Sudden cardiac events can happen without warning, and early defibrillation saves lives.

Bringing an AED into our clinic is simply an extension of who we are: a team committed to our community, our patients, and the well-being of everyone who walks through our doors.

You might notice it on the wall next time you’re in—no cause for alarm, just one more way GTS is looking out for you. ❤️

🍎 Community Food Drive: Helping Our Friends & Neighbors 🍞

With upcoming cuts to SNAP benefits, many local families may find it harder to put food on the table. Let’s come together to make sure no one in our community goes hungry.

We’re collecting nonperishable food items to support our friends and neighbors who may be facing food insecurity. Every can, box, or bag of food makes a difference.

🗓 Drop-off Dates: October 28-November 10
📍 Location: GTS Pocahontas (2520 Thomasville)
💛 Requested items: Canned meats, soups, peanut butter, pasta, rice, cereal, and other shelf-stable foods.

Together, we can make sure our community stays strong and supported.

A huge shoutout to the PHS Art Club for decorating our windows and bringing that Homecoming energy to GTS! Thanks for brightening up our clinic and sharing your talent with us!

🏈🎺 Homecoming Schedule Update:
We’ll be closing at noon on Friday, October 24 so our team can join in on the Homecoming festivities. After all, we’re not just therapists — we’re Redskin parents too!

Join us in the stands Friday night cheering for Spencer and Ryder on the football field and for Trae and Will and the other Marching Redskins providing halftime entertainment.
