Congratulations to Dr. Sonali Salunkhe! We are proud to support the ISU College of Business through this endowed professorship and the advancement of healthcare leadership in Southeast Idaho.

Congratulations to Dr. Sonali Salunkhe, who has become the first recipient of the Portneuf Medical Center Endowed Professorship in Healthcare Administration!

This professorship adds to Salunkhe’s growing list of achievements, including the 2025 American Public Health Administration ‘Rising Star Award’ and her work with an interdisciplinary ISU team to secure a multi-million-dollar Behavioral Health Workforce and Education Training Program grant aimed at addressing mental health needs in Idaho.

This professorship is recognition of faculty excellence, but also a long-term philanthropic commitment that will benefit students, faculty and the broader community. In addition to attracting top-talent to ISU, professorships strengthen ISU programs by supporting research and conference opportunities for both the professor and students within the program. It also provides internship opportunities for students at both the undergraduate and graduate level.

Thank you, Pocatello Firefighters! Every dollar from the donation goes to the Cancer Patient Assistance Fund, which offers financial assistance to patients who have a disruption to their income due to cancer and cancer treatments.

We appreciate your partnership in raising awareness about breast cancer during Brake for Breakfast!

Today was a great day for our community. Your Pocatello Firefighters raised over $4,500 for the Portneuf Cancer Center—a new record!

These funds were made possible through the sale of our special Pink Shirts to hospital staff and at Brake for Breakfast.

We’re honored to serve this incredible community and grateful for your continued support.

Our New Year is off to a sweet start with the arrival of Cole Cantrell, the first baby born at PMC in 2026!

Cole was born at 6:29 am on January 1, 2026 to Jared and Morgan Cantrell of Pocatello.

As the New Year's baby, Cole received a wagon full of baby items donated by Portneuf Medical Center Auxiliary. Additionally, Idaho State University generously donated football season tickets for the Cantrell family to enjoy this fall.

Congratulations to the Cantrell family! We wish you a joyful 2026!
