PMC partnered with the Yes Idaho Donate Life Coalition and Mayor Dahlquist to host a flag raising ceremony in recognition of National Donate Life Month. We welcomed Mayor Dahlquist to our campus to read a proclamation about organ, tissue and eye donation, and we heard from Tina, a two-time organ transplant recipient who had a powerful message about the lifelong impact of organ donation.

Attendees participated in a flag raising ceremony to honor the individuals and families who make the decision to donate. The Donate Life flag will fly over PMC for the duration of April.

Myth: The preparation for colonoscopies is the worst!

Fact: Drinking the bowel preparation is one of the leading deterrents to having a colonoscopy. The good news is that, instead of a full gallon prep, there are lower-volume bowel preps available that make the experience more tolerable.

Schedule your colonoscopy today at the link in the comments.

March is National Athletic Training Month, which gives us the opportunity to highlight our exceptional team! Athletic trainers are certified healthcare professionals who often work behind the scenes on injury prevention, clinical evaluation, therapeutic intervention and rehabilitation.

Our ATs provide evidence-based, individualized care as they support athletes at local high schools and community events. We are grateful for their skill and professionalism!

Our Story

Portneuf Health Partners are improving lives and transforming medicine locally and around the region. In our 109 year history we have grown from a single hospital location to an advanced network of care. While our medical center has a strong focus on heart, cancer, neurology, orthopedics and women’s care, collectively, we continue to provide quality emergency care, imaging, primary and specialty care along with a wide range of health and wellness education opportunities. Around here, we take care of our own. We look out for our families and help our neighbors. So when we see way to improve healthcare, we are right on it. Because we deserve the best care available. Today, Portneuf Health Partners includes the joint venture between Portneuf Health Trust, Ardent Health Services and a robust network of providers including Portneuf Medical Center, Portneuf Quality Alliance, Portneuf Sports Medicine Institute and numerous physician practices. Together, we’re on a mission for better health, working together to deliver a higher level of care and a healthier community for us all.
