If you have ever wondered why the name Gingie Bears ? 29 years ago I met my husband Dan. He showed up with this teddy bear , and I baked a loaf of banana bread for him. So the teddy bear collecting started and boy have they multiplied over the years. You do know that when ever you move you cut some holes in the box for them to breathe right?
Then gingie is my all time favorite cookie, gingerbread houses, the smell makes me so happy. My kitchen becomes a decorated gingerbread candyland each year. But I do make all kinds if cookies too . I just combined my love for them both in the name. There now you know.

A set of pirate cookies I made my friend Lee. He was one of my good friends since kindergarten. Lee passed away a little over a year ago. He was a super talented musician. Little things bring him to mind every day. Miss you still.
