From Nov. 2012 to 2024
A good friend of ours made this video for us. So many of you have walked this path with us of healing and faith. RaNae continues to improve and is doing things doctors said she would never do. She will always have constant dizziness and pain but is now teaching 28 piano students and speaking with me for groups of people. We acknowledge the Lord in all things and thank you for your love and faith. We also know that miracles come in life and in death. It is important to know that the Lord is in charge and that we are willing to abide by his will. It has now been over 12 years since RaNae was in the hospital. She has gone back for several heart surgeries and continues to focus on the Lord and his will. We love you all and thank you for your continual friendship, prayers and love for the Lord, Love Bill and RaNae McKee

Empower Women Workshop on July 8th in Pocatello!!
These women are just incredible and have inspired me personally in many ways. Lunch is provided and zoom Options are available too. We welcome teenaged women as well. The focus is on supporting each other as women despite are differences and lifting each other up. There will also be break off speakers for mental health, nutrition, structure in home, positivity, postpartum and strengthening one another. Several people have asked about my dad's cancer update. He got home from San Diego in September and the daily proton treatments were hard, but went well. He made it back just in time for the Pocatello Temple open house that they had been working on via zoom during treatment. They got to work with the interfaith temple tours. He had been in very bad pain, but the last week of October noticed changes in his body and felt like a miracle had happened as the pain just suddenly went away and has stayed that way. Last week his numbers for his testing came back and the doctor tells us the numbers looked great and very low. He will stay on injections for another year at the Cancer Center but tells me he is feeling great! In the meantime my mom started having heart trouble and had a a stent replaced requiring her to go back to the hospital a few times, but is now doing very well. They are so grateful for each of your prayers, kind words and concern. He is back to work, teaching at the institute and my mom is teaching piano. Both are starting up parenting classes again. We are grateful for the miracles we have experienced with them both.♥️

Dear Family and Friends,
Thank you all for your kindness and prayers. We have been back in Idaho now for two weeks just in time for the Pocatello temple open house after 28 treatments. So glad to be home. I will now receive 14 months of treatment by injection from our local cancer center. I feel good and so blessed. The doctor tells me that in 6 months they will test to see where the cancer is but that we cannot get an accurate test until then. The injections cause tiredness, weakness, weight gain and all those fun things but like RaNae said today, "you're alive and functioning". I do feel very blessed and am going to live as though I do not have cancer not as if I do. Thank you for your cards notes and prayers. We acknowledge the Lord in all things and appreciate so much great friends and family who are so supportive.
We are going to keep as involved as we can in the Temple open house and encourage all to attend. Such a blessing for our whole community.

A quick update on Dad:
Three weeks ago, he came down to San Diego at the CA proton cancer center for a consultation, surgery, and CT scans & MRI's. They built a portable sleeve over the next week that would fit around the lower half of his body. He and mom were able to come home for a week and then drove back down to the cancer center to start treatment. They scheduled him to do 30 treatments, which will require him to be at the hospital 2 hours every day Monday-Friday. He just finished his 8th treatment today, only 22 more to go!
Dad says he feels very blessed and so far has had minimal side effects to the treatment. The staff here at the hospital are remarkable, and he has one of the finest doctors treating him. He is doing well and thanks everyone for your love, kindness, cards, and prayers.
From Dad---"Life is relative. While here in the hospital, I am interacting with numerous patients with cancer. My test becomes less as I watch other individuals and families go through a variety of cancer treatments. The children especially touch my heart. I want to reach out to each one of them to somehow make their cancer go away. Life offers each of us a chance to learn and grow by every experience that we go through. In the mission field, RaNae and I always taught that we can do hard things. Now watch for the miracle. We truly feel that we are experiencing daily miracles. Again, we are so grateful for your love and support. While here, we are still working on the Pocatello, ID temple committee by phone and through zoom meetings. We are so grateful for a temple in our home area and hope that you all will gather your neighbors and friends to go through the open house. One of our minister friends is flying from Ohio to come through the open house. It will be such a blessing. We hope you take advantage of this opportunity. Love to all!"
