It was our last week celebrating Skilled Nursing Home week (month in Monte Vista’s case) as well as celebrating our amazing nurses, awesome CNAs and everyone in between!

We ended things with a bang! Throwback Thursday with some groovy outfits and our residents got to play Battleship with water balloons.

We did it! We got Andy (Administrator) in the dunk tank…along with Trey (OT), Daniel (AIT), Kevin (SS), Jake (PT) and Jordan (Admissions).

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice is the foundation of the freedoms we cherish each day.

At Monte Vista Hills, we are especially grateful to the veterans within our community and their families. Your courage, dedication, and service inspire us daily.

Let us never forget the true meaning of this day. We remember. We honor. We thank you.

Beach day/water fight!!! 🏖️

Kevin, our social services director, filled up a ton of water balloons for our staff to have some fun and for the residents to throw at us.

We sure do love our residents…even if they soaked us!

Stay tuned for next week as 3 members of the staff will be voted to be dunked in the DUNK TANK! 🔫💦🎈
