Why Massage?

Ever since I was a in middle school I had my sights set on massage therapy. I had family members that suffered from severe migraines, sore muscles, and other injuries. I wanted a way to help them and others. From that time I did research by interviewing massage therapists, physical therapists, and chiropractors. Many of my later high school research projects were focused on learning more about massage therapy. I was accepted into the Idaho State University massage program in 2012; by 2014 I had my Associate of Applied Science with my Certificate of Massage Therapy.

Summer of 2014 I was interned at Boise Valley Chiropractic (BVC) with Dr. James Bingham. At the end of my internship, Dr. Bingham offered me a job at his office. I started part-time and then became so busy I went full-time at BVC. I learned much from working with Dr. Bingham. I was able to gain experience with many different ailments that people have. I have worked with people that have fused vertebral discs, rotator cuff surgeries and injuries, slipped and bulging discs, knee replacements, hip replacements, prenatal, arthritis, depression, migraines and other headaches, whiplash, and so on. I did what I loved - helping people find relief and progress towards healing! I worked at Boise Valley Chiropractic for 2+ years.

In Summer of 2016 I received an impression to serve the Lord as a full-time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I served from November 2016 to June 2018. I learned many valuable lessons from self-worth to communication and everything in between. I have become a more confident individual knowing where my trust lies.

Now I am starting a new adventure starting up my own business! The unique thing about my business is I can come to you or you can come to me. I have massage space at MIND YOUR BODY and I have my own portable table and chair so that I can come to you!
