When I arrived at work today there was a note for me to call Mr. Fox and a phone number. I called it and it was the Bronx Zoo. I thought, hmm this is fishy, but I left a message for Mr. Fox anyway. We solicit for gifts far and wide for our Casino Night and that's what I thought the message was. I was just informed that I am the victim of an April Fools joke!
Don't be an April Fool, if you can donate a gift, a gift card, an experience, or purchase a raffle ticket please help us out. I'm sure Mr. Fox will. 😆

A big shout-out to Devon's Kitchen! Thank you for hosting some of our residents for a lunch. They loved preparing, and of course eating, the food. They were so excited to share the recipes with our cook, Paula.

We are still seeking a Residential Aide. This is a part-time position, nights and weekends. Every other weekend will definitely be part of the shift. More hours will be available if you are interested. No real experience is needed, we will train. There is no physical contact with the residents required. Please call me at 732-899-2277 or drop off an application. This is the perfect job for someone who is retired and is seeking to help people. Work, earn a little money instead of volunteering somewhere.

A fitting end to our fun, successful golf tournament! A double rainbow. A lot of lucky winners of great prizes that day. Each participant won the greatest prize of all, helping another person. Maybe you can join us at one of our future events?

These rings were found inside an item that was donated in December. They are obviously meaningful to someone and I would love to return them. My guess is that the person who donated them lives in the Point Pleasant area. Please call 732-899-2277 if they are yours. I do have a way to tell if you can identify them or not.

Tonight is one of the resident's favorite nights of the year (mine too!)
Tonight we hold our holiday store where the residents use "Valentine Bucks" to purchase gifts for their family and friends. These gifts are all donated by the community. The store is staffed f by volunteers.
It is a magical night. Thanks to everyone who makes this happen.

988 is a new phone number that recently went live to help people get help in a mental health crisis. Similar to 911, this line is dedicated for anyone in need of mental health assistance of any kind. It’s 988.

Taking care of resident needs, adminitrative work, light laundry, serving lunch. never a dull moment, the duties change every day. All residents are self sufficient, there is no direct resident care. Must know Word at a minimum. Must be reliable and have reliable transportation.

We will hold our annual holiday store for our residents on December 14, 2022. The residents are given "Valentine Bucks" and can purchase gifts for people in their lives.
The merchandise for the store comes from donations from the community. We will be accepting donations until December 11, 2022. Just simply ring the bell and leave them on the porch!
We ask that all items be new and not Christmas. No need to purchase anything - re-gift, donate those items you bought and meant to use, or give them as gifts! Clean out your closets, drawers, and cabinets. Gift cards are great also!
