We are a not-for-profit healthcare system that provides community-oriented healthcare for Mason and Jackson counties in West Virginia and the counties of Gallia and Meigs in Ohio. This 101-bed facility offers a full spectrum of services and includes a 101-bed acute care facility, wellness center (open to the public), and more. General services are provided to the community including radiology, emergency medicine, inpatient and outpatient surgery, neurology, sleep studies, ophthalmology, orthopedics, oncology/hematology, otolaryngology, women's health and a full-range of therapy and rehabilitation services. Radiology services include CT, Vantage Orian MRI with Theater and Pianissimo noise reducing technology, ultrasound, nuclear medicine and 3-D digital mammography. We are extending care well beyond the doors of the hospital, offering alternative care options, emergency treatment of major and minor injuries and illness and preventive care and fitness programs. Pleasant Valley Hospital is truly a resource center for our community's healthcare needs.

When an engineer from Marshall Health Network arrived on-site for a wireless assessment, Harrison went above and beyond by accompanying him throughout the entire visit. He ensured seamless access to all necessary areas and professionally managed interactions with end users, preventing any disruptions. The engineer specifically praised Harrison's professionalism and noted that his assistance was instrumental in completing the assignment in a timely manner.

Harrison's commitment to excellence, proactive support, and professional approach to customer service set him apart throughout the year. His willingness to dedicate his time and expertise to ensure smooth operations for both our team and our partners truly exemplifies what it means to provide outstanding service.
Outside of work, Harrison lives in Frazier's Bottom where he enjoys spending time with family. He's also a published author, adding creativity and talent to his impressive list of accomplishments!

Celebrating 41 Years of Dedication and Excellence

Tonight marks the end of an incredible era as Dr. Daniel Trent completes his final shift at Rivers Health after 41 years of exceptional service to our community.

Since joining us in 1984, Dr. Trent has touched countless lives with his expertise, compassion, and unwavering commitment to patient care. Last week, we celebrated this remarkable milestone with family, friends, and colleagues - both current and from years past - all gathered to honor a truly extraordinary career.

For more than four decades, Dr. Trent has been more than a physician - he's been a mentor, a friend, and a cornerstone of Rivers Health. His legacy of excellence and dedication will continue to inspire us for years to come.

Please join us in congratulating Meaghan Neal on her new role as Vice President of Strategic Finance, Operational Performance & Treasury at Marshall Health Network (MHN).

In this new role, Meaghan will provide leadership across financial planning, strategic finance, operational performance improvement and treasury functions, while continuing to support the work that helps move our system forward. She will also support the development and ex*****on of MHN’s strategic finance initiatives.

Neal, who has been with MHN and Cabell Huntington Hospital since 2009, previously served as MHN Executive Director of Budget. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Marshall University.
