Rivers Health

Rivers Health A member of Marshall Health Network, Rivers Health is a 101-bed, not-for-profit facility. PVH also operates numerous medical clinics.

Established in 1959 as a 40-bed private, not-for-profit community hospital, Pleasant Valley Hospital today has developed into something much more...

We are a not-for-profit healthcare system that provides community-oriented healthcare for Mason and Jackson counties in West Virginia and the counties of Gallia and Meigs in Ohio. This 101-bed facility offers a full spectrum of services and includes a 101-bed acute care facility, wellness center (open to the public), and more. General services are provided to the community including radiology, emergency medicine, inpatient and outpatient surgery, neurology, sleep studies, ophthalmology, orthopedics, oncology/hematology, otolaryngology, women's health and a full-range of therapy and rehabilitation services. Radiology services include CT, Vantage Orian MRI with Theater and Pianissimo noise reducing technology, ultrasound, nuclear medicine and 3-D digital mammography. We are extending care well beyond the doors of the hospital, offering alternative care options, emergency treatment of major and minor injuries and illness and preventive care and fitness programs. Pleasant Valley Hospital is truly a resource center for our community's healthcare needs.

✅ Healthy Holidays Start with the Right Primary Care Provider

Between work, family and everyday responsibilities, taking care of your own health can easily fall to the bottom of the list. But having a primary care provider you trust is one of the most important steps you can take for your long-term well-being.

A primary care provider is your partner in good health—someone who knows your history, monitors changes over time and helps catch potential issues early. From managing blood pressure and cholesterol to screening for diabetes, discussing mental health and guiding preventive care, your P*P helps keep you on track and feeling your best.

Marshall Health Network has primary care providers conveniently located across the region, ready to support you every step of the way. 💚

🚨 Whooping Cough (Pertussis) Cases Increasing 🚨

We’re seeing a rise in whooping cough cases across our community. It may start like a simple cold but can quickly turn into severe coughing fits and breathing trouble— and is especially dangerous for infants. Teens and adults often have a lingering cough and may spread it without realizing.
