Art for Life 2025 will take place on Sunday, October 26, 2025, from 11 AM to 4 PM, in Columbus’ vibrant Gay & High neighborhood. The event features a silent auction across six premier downtown galleries and a VIP live auction at The Citizen Trust.

"A dedicated LGBTQ+ Affairs Commission... would elevate the voices of residents who have historically been excluded from policymaking." 👏

Last week, Equitas Health Legislative Affairs Manager, Candace Janidlo (she/her), testified at the Columbus City Council Public Hearing in support of creating Columbus' first-ever LGBTQ+ Affairs Commission.

The LGBTQ+ Affairs Commission would be a 13-member, volunteer commission that would recommend legislation that advances social, economic, and political equality for the LGBTQ+ community. It would also educate the community, and advise the mayor & City Council on budget matters relating to the LGBTQ+ community.

Equitas Health urges the council to fully support & resource the LGBTQ+ Affairs Commission. 🌈
