Hobby Horse is looking for a trade feeding and or maintenance position in Polson. Trade for horse boarding or drive in use of the indoor arena. Must have prior horse care experience for feeding. Only a few hours per day needed, 3 days per week is ideal. Please PM for more information.

We’re still hoping for a few more entries for our May 24th Dressage in the Park schooling show! The deadline to enter is this Thursday, May 22nd! Nearly all tests currently entered have only 1 horse and rider! Everyone gets their judge’s scorecard with valuable feedback, but ribbons are fun too! If you enjoy a little good-natured competition, consider entering for one of these tests so they have at least two riders!

Hobby Horse Place LLC is now taking applications for an experienced individual for a part time equine feeding/care position in Polson MT. Must have prior experience and be knowledgeable in equine care and handling. Any of the following skills would be beneficial but not required: general maintenance including cleaning and fence repair, equipment operation (small tractor, skidsteer), Path certified or general riding instructor. Hours and pay depend on skill set and experience level. Must have reliable transportation, excellent communication skills, able to physically perform job related duties including picking up bales 50 - 70lbs on a regular basis. Trades considered.
