Happy Holidays from pureHealth! Our office will close Thursday, December 23rd at 5pm and will reopen on Monday, December 27th at 8am. Additionally the office will close Thursday, December 30th at 5pm. We will be back in the office full time on Jan 3rd at 8am to kick of a new year! It has been 10 long months waiting for this day. In those 10 months, we have learned a tremendous amount about our healthcare system – both it’s limitations and it’s resiliency. We have lost some beloved members of our pureHealth family to this disease and struggled to find answers for those who still haven’t quite gotten back to normal weeks or months after getting COVID. Our best hope for returning to a life that looks more like it did last January is to safely protect ourselves from getting and spreading the virus. Vaccines work and this one is safe. I wouldn’t say that if I hadn’t read everything published by reputable scientific sources about it. I know some of you will choose not to get it and that is your personal choice. To me, this vaccine means I can visit my parents without constantly worrying if I am going to make them sick and I can stop worrying about what will happen to my practice if I have to be away from the office for 2 weeks on isolation. It does not mean that I can stop wearing a mask and washing my hands but I can live with that. Shout out to Providence St Joseph, Polson, Mt for providing the vaccine for Vanessa and to St Luke Community Healthcare for vaccinating me. Here’s to the best 2021 imaginable! ~Dr. Cara
