This was based around school, and i haven’t had much time to add much more content but i hoe to soon.

I mentioned I was back to the bone broth earlier this week.
I do this so I can take a break from food.
A healthy break.
It helps me to keep my potion sizes to a healthy amount instead of over eating.

Do you know what Bone Broth is?

To break it down a little bit, bone broth is when you take chicken or turkey bones and bring them to a boil with a pot full of water, and allow them to simmer for a long period of time.
I tend to leave mine going for 24 hours at least, while adding water through out this time period.
Once you are finished with the cooking process you strain the bones and let the broth cool. Then put it away for later use or make soup.

Bone broth has magnesium, potassium, calcium, collagen and healthy fats, it is good from the inside out.

Just think about the broth that you buy from the grocery store, but its home made, has all of the benefits that bone broth has, is easy to make along with being so much cheaper.

Just sayen, ya'll should try it!!!

Started drinking my bone broth again today. Lets see how long this will last.
I know some of you are biased to fasting, but its helped me to not over eat when I eat.

I've super sucked at posting.

I'm sorry.

It's been crazy on the farm.
We've had company.
Callie and i both had the flu (which were still fighting)and Travis was sick too..🤧😷🤒🤕
Callie's 6th birthday is in just a few short days.
🤷‍♀️😍😘
The pup has hearts worms, on tons of meds (including steroids) 🙄and is being treated but also needs a weekly check up.😔
I'm in my last term of school working on 15 credits to graduate.😳🤞🏼
Travis has been taking on more work at his job.
Callie's back in gymnastics.👯‍♂️
I'm also working on a website that i will be connecting with this page that i am super excited to share soon.

Just please bare with this crazy hectic part of our lives and i will continue to keep you updated.

I had a brownie today!! 🙄😬😔
So let me explain. We had chicken dinners from church to help fund a mission trip.
We had an option between brownies and cookies. I don't tend to eat sweets, but i grabbed Travis and i some brownies not thinking twice about it.
I feel like I've been extra hungry since i broke my bone broth fast Friday with a veggie omelet from my favorite place in town The Magnolia Cafe.
Luckily I've been super busy so i haven't been over eating or anything.
Today after church, i sucked down my chicken and coleslaw.
Sooooo good!
Thank you to everyone who made that happen for an awesome benefit.
But after i ate i was still hungry, and the brownie was staring at me in all it's glory... so i heated it up in the microwave and honestly didn't even think twice about devouring it.
It was really good too. I've always had a weakness for brownies!
So i ate a brownie, and i didn't feel guilty.
FIRST TIME EVER!
Tomorrow i restart my fast with bone broth and Travis had a great idea... freeze it in ice cube trays, duh... why didn't i think of that?
I also burnt my hand while transporting said bone broth.
Ouch you guys!?.
But back to the grind.

Hey guys. So i wanted to update you on everything.

My juice cleanse turned into a sorta fast.

Travis and i juiced over the weekend with a light and healthy dinner.

On Monday he was ready for real food and so i decided i would have some bone broth for lunch because it had been cooking since Sunday afternoon and looked so tempting, and was super delicious.

I had a light dinner each night since while fasting during the day with the bone broth. I have to admit, i have really enjoyed the broth, it's warm and delishes and i just love it. Juicing is cold, and you feel like your missing out on something. I haven't been hungry, and even at dinner i ate very little.

My thoughts are that i will continue to juice because it's nice to boost up on the vitamins and minerals i may be missing on a normal basis, and i will also continue to fast a few times a month (ish) with my bone broth because i enjoy it.

My results. So far, i feel like i have more energy... I'm not starving my self during the day. I'm all around just feeling better, and healthier.
The first day we juiced (i know I'm not supposed too) i weighed my self Saturday and Sunday, and honestly most of the last several days. I wanted to keep track of everything.
Sunday i had gained 2.5 lbs. i was depressed, but we kept trucking. Over the last few days not much has changed. But i got on the scale this afternoon and i am officially down 5.5 lbs.

I have been drinking more water, don't feel as hungry as i used to... still want pizza but not enough to give in just yet.

Also I'm guilty because i couldn't cut out my coffee. Pretty sure it makes me function.

Anyways. I just wanted to fill you in.

Decided to go with homemade bone broth and lemon water. Both have some pink salt. Yum!
