Parkinson’s disease is the fastest-growing neurological disorder worldwide. But according to neurologist and author Dr. Ray Dorsey, it’s not only treatable—it’s preventable. In his book The Parkinson’s Plan: A New Path to Prevention and Treatment, Dr. Dorsey outlines how lifestyle choices, environmental changes, and proactive steps can slow progression and reduce risk.

The Parkinson’s Wellness Project is honored to welcome Dr. Dorsey as a keynote speaker at our upcoming program on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Suffern, New York. He will share practical strategies for living well with Parkinson’s, empowering patients and caregivers to take charge of their health.

The event will also feature keynote presentations by Dr. Laurie Mischley and Dr. Stu Isaacson, two of the field’s leading experts. More details on their talks will appear in our next issue.

Registration is required. Reserve your spot today at https://parkinsonswellnessproject.org/events.

Together, we can move from managing Parkinson’s to preventing it.

WE’RE COMING TOGETHER TO PUT PARKINSON'S DISEASE IN THE PAST.

We represent a global alliance of Parkinson’s organizations from over 80 countries. Together, we’re mobilizing our community to spark change.

For World Parkinson’s Day, we’re calling on those impacted by the disease to stand up, speak out and unite to end Parkinson's. We can break the stigma around our disease, lead the call to fund medical breakthroughs and together we can put Parkinson’s in the past.
