ParkTree Community Health Center

ParkTree Community Health Center ParkTree Community Health Center is a comprehensive medical center facility providing primary healthcare to adults and children.

ParkTree Community Health Center was initially founded in 1995 as the “Pomona Clinic Coalition” by Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center and other local healthcare providers in response to the burgeoning indigent and working poor population in the eastern end of Los Angeles County. At the time, there was a lack of an adequate public health infrastructure in the region. The number of indigent and working poor skyrocketed as once thriving agricultural areas were transformed into urban neighborhoods. In March 2007, Pomona Community Health Center, under the inspirational leadership of Jamie Garcia M.D., incorporated and became a separate 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Today there are two locations situated in the City of Pomona to better serve the needs of the Los Angeles and San Bernardino County residents. In March 2016, we merged with Kids Come First in Ontario and in December 2016, we changed our name to ParkTree Community Health Center to be more inclusive to our patients in Ontario.
