Hiring Medical Billing & Insurance Specialist

About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Medical Billing & Insurance Specialist to join our busy practice. If you’re detail-oriented, organized, and skilled at working with insurance companies, this is the role for you.
What You’ll Do
• Submit and track insurance claims (Medicare, Medicaid, commercial)
• Resolve denied/rejected claims
• Post payments and reconcile accounts
• Verify patient coverage and eligibility
• Maintain HIPAA compliance
What We’re Looking For
• Previous experience in medical billing and insurance filing necessary
• Knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding
• Familiarity with billing software
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
Recommended But Not Required
• Billing & coding certification (CPC, CBCS, etc.)
• Experience handling prior authorizations and appeals
