Hi everyone,
I wanted to share some important information that many people may not be aware of. If you have Medicaid coverage through Aetna, Humana, or Oklahoma Complete Health, you may be eligible for Value Added Benefits (VABs) that can support you and your family in meaningful ways.
With the upcoming changes related to food assistance, it's more important than ever to be informed about the resources available to you. Many Medicaid plans offer non-emergency transportation for essential tripsโsuch as grocery shopping, visiting food banks, getting children to school, and more. These services typically do not require a three-day advance notice and can often be scheduled same-day.
Additionally, each of these insurance providers employs Case Managers who can help members access services related to food, housing, utilities, and other community resources. I encourage you to visit your health planโs website and explore the benefits available to you. You can also call your health plan and ask to be connected with a Case Manager for personalized support.
