The Friday Night Meeting Schedule

The Friday evening session is an integral part of the Reformers Unanimous opportunity.

The format is divided into three segments. We call it “Talk, Talk, Talk”. Each “Talk” is about 40 minutes in length with a 5 minute break in between each.

First, we talk to God. We do that in two ways. First we open with a word of prayer. We then give students an opportunity to share Praises of how God has changed their lives – our stories of victory. This serves to give encouragement to other students and credit where credit is due. We don’t like to talk about what we’ve done to God, we like to talk about what God has done for us! Our visitors love to hear stories of recovery through God’s miraculous, saving grace.

Second, we talk to each other. Reformers Unanimous breaks into challenge groups to share each of our pressing burdens or precious blessings. Each group is led by a counsel leader. We take the first part of this time to review our curriculum for the past week and complete our challenges. If anyone needs personal counsel, it is made available.

Third, God talks to us. He does that during this message. Reformers Unanimous doesn’t just listen to people talk about their problems. We advocate and teach what God says to do about it. All materials and messages come from the Bible. It is the only book God wrote, thus it is the only one we use.

We have a class textbook, a curriculum book and our daily journal, which keeps us on track through the week while we are away from class.

After Class

Immediately following the Third Talk we have an awards ceremony for Students who have completed various challenges during the previous week. Then we meet for fellowship and enjoy coffee and snacks.
