We would like you to join us in celebrating our April Employee of the Month!

Originally from Rogers, AR, but a Ponca City girl at heart and dedicated CNA, Misty, has been a cornerstone of the PCNR team since October 2025. For Misty, caregiving isn’t just a job; it’s a lifelong calling. Having served as her mother’s primary caregiver from the age of 11, she brings a depth of empathy and understanding to our residents that is truly rare.
When she isn’t brightening the halls of PCNR, Misty enjoys life with her partner of eight years and their beloved fur baby, "Snowdrop". As the youngest of three sisters and a proud aunt to ten nieces and nephews, family is at the heart of everything she does. We are so lucky to have her heart and her hands caring for our community!

Friday we had the privilege of having a retirement party for one of our own! Michaelina Murphy worked for our company for 26 years. Mikey started out on the floor as a floor nurse and worked herself up to management when she became HR. During her time she learned how to manage and hire and work with the staff on the floor. She would give them schedules to accommodate them, when they needed days off she would assist them, even if there was an emergency she was there to handle it. Mikey will truly be missed.

We are doing a tshirt drive for our coworker/friend at work. She has lung cancer and is unable to continue her work as a nurse at our facility at Ponca City Nursing & Rehab. She has been a wonderful asset to our establishment throughout all these years as the HR director. She has been there WAY longer than me and I am going on 13 years. She is also an amazing friend. I got the privilege of knowing that first hand. She would be one of the homies on our yearly float trips. (Boy I could tell you stories 🤣 jk). As far as family goes, she has a great support system of kids and grandkids who all love her very much. We all stand with Mikey aka Michaelina Murphy.
So with that being said I am reaching out to my friends on facebook and the entire community of Ponca city. If you would like to purchase a tshirt then get with Kathy Casper (she is our administrator). They are 20 dollars.
If you would like to show your support and not buy a tshirt, donations are also welcome though our nursing home.

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who donated jeans for this year’s Christmas stocking project. Your generosity made such a difference!

A very special shout-out to Regina and Judie from Woodlands Christian Church for crafting the stockings for our residents — we appreciate you both so much.

And of course, thank you to our amazing staff for jumping in to help make this project a success.
