Today, we are happy to celebrate Maxine, also known as “Max.” 🌼

She says her favorite thing about living here at Bradbury Commons is
💛 The friendships she’s made.
💛 The kindness of our staff.
💛 The way everyone helps and supports one another — especially “the girls.” 💕

Fun facts about Max:
💃🏽 She used to love to sing and dance.
✈️ She loved to travel, with Vancouver, Canada holding a special place in her heart.
🕯️ She loves candles and all the pretty things.

Max loves to cook and bake. She says her kids especially loved her tacos, and she couldn’t go to a family event without bringing her white coconut cake. 🍰

She volunteered for 50 years, everywhere she could — because she believes volunteering is the best way to meet new people. 🤍

In one word, she describes our community as blessed — saying it feels as close to home as it can get. 💖

✨ Motto she lives by: Kindness and faith. ✨

💙 Community Update Bradbury Commons

We want to take a moment to reassure our residents, families, and the Ponca City community that all is well at Bradbury Commons, despite today’s snow and the extremely cold temperatures expected through tomorrow.
Our residents are safe, warm, and comfortable, and our team is fully staffed and prepared to continue providing excellent care during this period of single-digit temperatures. We have plans in place to ensure daily operations continue smoothly and that resident needs are met without interruption.
We would also like to extend a sincere thank you to our incredible staff, who continue to show up with dedication and professionalism—especially during challenging weather conditions. We even have some staff sleeping here to ensure excellent care Is not Interrupted by weather and travel Issues.
We are equally grateful to our families and the Ponca City community for your ongoing support, trust, and kindness.
We will continue to monitor conditions closely and share updates if needed. Thank you for being part of the Bradbury Commons family. Love Thrives Here 💙❄️

Today we are happy to celebrate Kitty. 🌼

Kitty enjoys playing bingo, listening to music, and dancing, and her smile often lights up the room during these moments. Music brings her joy, and movement always seems to lift her spirit.

🩷 A little about Kitty:
• She is a proud mother of five children.
• She spent many years teaching, sharing her knowledge and kindness.
• She loved to travel, with Alaska holding a special place in her heart.

✨At Bradbury Commons, Kitty’s favorite thing is the comfort she feels. Feeling safe, cared for, and at ease is what matters most, and we are grateful to be part of her days.

We are beyond proud to celebrate one of our own, who has reached an incredible milestone! After serving our residents with compassion and dedication as a CNA, she has officially passed her NCLEX and is now working with us as a Licensed Practical Nurse. 👩🏽‍⚕️

Her journey is a true example of hard work, perseverance, and commitment to quality care. Watching her grow professionally within our organization has been inspiring, and we are so grateful that she continues her journey with us in this new role.

Please join us in congratulating her on this well-deserved achievement. We can’t wait to see the positive impact she’ll continue to make as a nurse. 🩺 💕
