My Story

I am a Psychotherapist licensed in the State of Florida specializing in couples and family therapy offering Telehealth counseling services (see website link.) With over 20 years experience working with people, now directly concentrating on helping individuals and families achieve their potential, and as a Clinician specializing in family therapy, I serve as a licensed practitioner working with a broad spectrum of client with behavioral and emotional issues. In addition to being a Therapist I am also an Adjunct Professor for Concordia University- Portland, Oregon. In addition to being a Relationship Therapist, I am a National Certified Counselor and a former Certified Family Mediator for the State of Florida. This has been a very rewarding part of my profession in regards to conflict resolution. My professional experience includes but not limited to: the aging population, teens, marital/family conflict, LGBTQ community, bariatric counseling, codependency/addiction, at-risk children and families, hospice, parenting support, infidelity, women’s issues, attachment theory, trauma informed care, narcissistic personality disorder/abuse, career/peer challenges and life transitions. I am creative by nature and spontaneous. This is a great combination when working with families, particularly on how I engage with them in session. I integrate complementary methodologies and techniques from family systems theory to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. Utilizing genuine warmth, compassion and understanding I work with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
