This month has been crazy! We’re half way through and have already had amazing stories come through the office!

We are so happy that Jerica is doing fine and had a successful surgery! She came in with stomach and back pain and after some visceral abdominal exams Dr. J referred her to the ER with a possible diagnosis of Appendicitis! To much of the hospital staff’s surprise, he was spot on with his diagnosis. Here at Purser Chiropractic we pride ourselves on giving our patients, no matter how young, the best care possible.

Next, we have our sweet Mrs. Ruth! Mrs. Ruth is 91 years old and still living a full life. She decided to take her health into her own hands and come see us to help with hip pain. We absolutely love her and are ecstatic that she chose care with us!

Dr. J, resident of Independence, LA, is a dedicated chiropractor and passionate community servant. With deep routes in southern Louisiana, Dr. J has built a life centered on faith, family, and service.

He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life university, following a strong academic foundation at Southeastern Louisiana University (SLU), where he received his bachelor's degree in biology. During his time at SLU, Dr. J was a standout student athlete, serving as a cheerleader for 5 years and demonstrating the leadership, discipline, and teamwork that now define his professional practice.

Outside of his career, Dr. J leads an active lifestyle-he enjoys working out, playing basketball, and cheering on his favorite teams: the LSU Tigers and the New Orleans Saints. He draws strength and purpose from his Christian faith and proudly upholds the values of god, family, and football.

Dr. J brings a passion for helping people move and feel their best, with a focus on personalized care and long-term wellness. Whether you're managing chronic pain or just looking to improve your mobility, you're in great hands!

A Special Thank You to Someone Who Means So Much 💜

As a small business owner, I’ve been blessed to grow from humble beginnings. I still remember being in my old building, terrified about how I was going to afford to pay someone $14 an hour to sit at my front desk. That “someone” turned out to be one of the greatest blessings of my life — Aubrey.

She’s been with me through it all. From some of the highest of highs — the birth of my children, our business expansion — to the lowest of lows, like the devastating loss of my husband. Even during the moments when I couldn’t find purpose or strength in myself, she did.

This past year has been unimaginably difficult. Every day has been a challenge. Some days, just getting out of bed felt impossible. And yet, when I had to leave for 10 months to be in another state, I still came back to a thriving practice — something that is almost unheard of in today’s world of small business. That is because of Aubrey.

Without any prior experience in chiropractic, she stepped up and ran my business — not for recognition, not for reward, but because she cares. She always has. She has always put Purser Chiropractic first. And for that, I will always be grateful.

Now, as Aubrey prepares for one of life’s most beautiful journeys — becoming a mother to a sweet baby girl — I finally have the chance to not just say thank you, but show her what she means to me and to all of us here.

I had planned to start this next week, but since her maternity leave will begin before a full month passes, I’m starting now: From July 9th through August 9th, I will personally match any and all tips Aubrey receives.

My hope is to help lift a little of the burden and celebrate this next chapter of her life, the same way she has helped carry me through mine.

We love you, Aubrey. Purser Chiropractic would not be what it is without you. 💜
