Sciatica is a type of pain that travels along the path of the sciatic nerve, the longest nerve in the body, which runs from the lower back, through the buttocks, and down the back of each leg. It's often described as pain, numbness, or tingling that starts in the lower back or buttock and radiates down the leg, sometimes even into the foot.
Symptoms:
Pain: Often described as burning, shooting, or stabbing, and may be worsened by sitting, coughing, or sneezing.
Numbness or tingling: A pins-and-needles sensation along the sciatic nerve path.
Weakness: Muscle weakness in the affected leg, potentially affecting the ability to lift the leg or toes.

Plantar fasciitis is a condition characterized by heel pain and inflammation of the plantar fascia, a thick band of tissue on the bottom of the foot. The pain is often most intense first thing in the morning or after periods of inactivity.
Symptoms:
Heel pain: The primary symptom is pain in the heel, often described as a stabbing or burning sensation.
Pain worsens after rest: Pain is typically most severe after prolonged periods of sitting or inactivity.
Pain with first steps: The pain can be particularly noticeable with the first few steps in the morning.
Tenderness to touch: The heel area may be tender to the touch.
Stiffness: The foot and arch may feel stiff and tight.
