Yesterday our residents had an absolute blast hosting a spook-tacular Trick-or-Treat party for the Tesori Family Foundation. Everyone was beaming with joy, from Spider-Man, to Mary Ingalls, to Raggedy Ann, and more as residents handed out candy with the PVG duck waddling around spreading good vibes. Afterwards everyone indulged in scrumptious ice cream treats . 🎃👻💜 Tesori Family Foundation

It is not unusual to see residents visiting with Dee, our Programming Director, while she’s working in her office. “Sometimes residents stop by to see if I can recharge their cellphone, or ask for chocolate while chatting about something important to them, or even challenging me to a quick game of 7-Card War. I love that they feel so comfortable in visiting with me and my amazing staff between activities!” … and for the record, he won! 😎♥️♠️♦️♣️

Calling all book lovers! Chapter Chasers, the newest club in PVG, has officially kicked off and is open to all residents and family members. Meet up in our library located in the Bridges neighborhood for some literary adventures – times are listed in the calendar. Right now, they are submerged in “20,000 Leagues Under the Sea” by Jules Verne.

Our longtime volunteer Heather brought in another set of her wonderful original drawings for our residents to paint! She themed the drawings around our “Hotrods and Hotdogs” event from earlier this month. We all had a great time sharing about some of our favorite cars 🚗 🚙

Our community was treated to a delightful visit from Joan and Maggie of the St. John's mobile library, who kindly provided our residents with a selection of lovely baby pumpkins to decorate. These pumpkins are now showcased in our lobby for all to appreciate.💜🎃
