Ear pain might seem like no big deal — especially if it fades after a while. But it can be a sign of something more serious, like:
🔸 Ear infection (especially in kids — and it can escalate quickly!)
🔸 Earwax blockage — which can cause dizziness or hearing loss
🔸 Middle ear inflammation — often comes with a fever
🔸 Eardrum injury — from swimming, loud noise, or air pressure
🔸 A cold that spread to the ear
💬 It may not go away on its own — or if it does, it could leave complications behind.

– Pain lasts more than 2–3 hours
– Your child has ear pain
– You have a fever
– You feel pressure or hearing loss
– You were recently swimming, flying, or had a cold
