The JT Townsend Foundation is dedicated to providing hope to the those living with disabilities. The community came to his aid when he needed help. I

JT Townsend, our President suffered a near-fatal spinal cord injury on the football field as a senior at Episcopal High School in 2004. In 2008 he founded JTTF, a 501C3 non-profit to fulfill a dream of repaying the community that so generously helped him. JT graduated in the spring 2013 from UNF with a degree in Sport Management and continued to prosper despite his life-changing injury. JT Townsend died suddenly on June 5th, 2013. With your help, his legacy will live on through his foundation. We invite you to participate in our worthwhile event by making a monetary donation or providing an auction item. Your generous contribution will be greatly appreciated, as it will not only assist with the success of our event but will truly make a difference in the lives of many living with disabilities.

This free, family-friendly event brought together incredible organizations, community leaders, and families to celebrate inclusion, accessibility, and the power of adaptive recreation. It was an honor to connect with so many inspiring individuals and showcase the life-changing impact your donations make possible — from adaptive equipment to essential therapies and more.

Making Every Journey Possible 💙

We are truly honored to support Travis and his wonderful family through our foundation. Travis received a medical stroller that has already made a huge difference!

Here’s what his mother shared:

🗣️ “The stroller has helped us tremendously as my son's caretaker and also provided Travis the extra strength and energy that he needs when he is very fatigued. The stroller has also helped give Travis the chance to continue to enjoy the outdoors—to places that would be hard for us to navigate due to his limited mobility. We are very thankful for this gift and think of Ms. Carmen and the foundation every time we use it.”

Champions for Hope Golf Tournament! ⛳️

We’re out on the course today for another incredible part of Champions for Hope weekend — raising support for local families living with disabilities through the JT Townsend Foundation and advancing pancreatic cancer research at Mayo Clinic.
