Do you know that is legal in the US and medical malpractice is illegal?
Why is this allowed?
Educational systems ignore research proving what is and is not a highly effective literacy instruction or they ignore the or research on which dyslexia remediation program is repeatedly proven to be highly effective and which ones are minimally to not at all effective.

Instead schools give made up, untested, unproven and typically very ineffective literacy or IEP services (nationally IEPs only have a 5% success rate of ending students literacy struggles).

These ineffective general literacy instruction services (65% of US students do NOT learn to read proficiently) and highly ineffective dyslexia / IEP services are truly harmful and traumatizing to children.

Ignoring peer-reviewed research, especially ignoring Randomized Controlled Trials RCT research and instead giving made up, untested, unproven and especially giving solidly proven to be INEFFECTIVE programs and needlessly and knowingly harming students is the definition of malpractice.
