Where my cool, calm, collected girls at…
the ones who never wanted to “make things weird.” Who walked on eggshells, read every room before they entered it, and made themselves small to keep the peace.

Girls who were praised for being “mature for their age” or “easy to be around” often become hypervigilant -constantly managing other people’s emotions, bc somewhere along the way, love started to feel conditional.

My friends would literally ask, “I can’t tell if you’re mad, happy, or sad.” I was once in the car with my then-bf’s sister and she had me practice yelling bc I didn’t know how lol.

But being calm doesn’t always mean being at peace. Sometimes it means you’ve been surviving quietly.

& one day, you’ll find it so healing when you finally say:
“hey, I think…”
“actually, I disagree.”
“that didn’t feel right to me.”
& realize IT WASN’T THE END OF THE WORLD.

To the girl who kept loving and showing up for people the way you hoped others would do for you:
Let this be the season you pour that same love back into yourself.
Let it be the season you stop chasing being understood and start embracing being at peace.

You don’t have to earn love by overgiving.
You don’t have to prove your worth through patience.
You don’t have to shrink to be chosen.

The right people will love you for you -not the filtered, careful, edited version, but the real, messy, brilliant, quirky version.

I hope you keep getting to know you.
& I hope you start falling in love with all the little quirks that make you, YOU.

The world doesn’t need another “perfect, obedient” girl. It needs you -honest, healing, and finally free.

From the start, I knew my practice had to be different -inside and out.
Leading with humility doesn’t make you soft; it builds stronger teams. That’s why I invest in my people the same way I invest in my patients.
Don’t get me wrong -this is still a business.
But when you care for patients at the highest standard and protect your business, you make space to care for your people too.
Bc culture isn’t a perk -it’s a strategy.
And when women lead their way, everyone rises.

You can’t expect people to read your mind.
Say what you need.
Clarify what you expect.
Sometimes we hold people to standards we never said out loud.
Then, get hurt when they fall short.

That’s not fair to them, or healthy for us.
Unspoken standards don’t make strong teams, they create silent resentment.

Speak it, so they can meet it.

When you’re used to being the best, average feels like failure. But sometimes life puts you in rooms full of people just like you & suddenly, you’re not “top of the class” anymore.

I failed my part 2 written boards. & for a moment, I thought that was the end of my story.

But it turned out to be the beginning of my becoming.

Plot twist: this wasn’t my first failure. It won’t be my last either.

Most high achievers, high earners, and serial “success stories” fail MORE than you think.

They’ve just learned how to fail FORWARD.

Bc success isn’t built on perfection. It’s built on focus. Not grit. Not luck. Not even hard work.

FOCUS.

The ability to tune out the noise, keep your eyes on the prize, and stay in the tunnel when everything around you is telling you to quit.

Failure doesn’t mean you’re behind. It means you’re being re-positioned for something bigger.

So if you’re in the middle of your setback… stay in the tunnel.

There’s light waiting for you at the end of it.

Here’s what really happens when your schedule coordinator is treated like a “front desk attendant.”

The title doesn’t match the impact.

They’re not a piece of furniture -they’re the ENGINE of your schedule.

They turn leads into patients, protect your time, and keep your day flowing.

Marketing brings people in… but your scheduler is the one who gets them on your books, over and over again.

The average practice converts only **55–65%** of inquiries into scheduled patients.

Top-performing teams with systems hit **80–90%.**

So before spending another dollar on marketing, ask yourself:

👉 Do you have someone who’s detail-oriented, confident on the phone, and relentless about follow-up?

👉 Or do you have someone just answering calls?

Because your next growth opportunity isn’t in more leads… it’s in better **conversion.**

“I’m not a salesperson, I’m a dentist.”

I hear that all the time.

But you can care deeply *and* run a business.

Sales isn’t manipulation — it’s communication.

It’s helping patients understand what’s possible and giving them permission to say yes to themselves.

The moment you realize that every “yes” fuels the health of your patient *and* your practice, you stop avoiding sales and start leading with service.

You’re not selling — you’re solving.

Most people are obsessed with the vector - the ad, the agency, the algorithm.
But the vector only works if the vision is clear.

If you don’t have your ideal patient profile defined, how can anyone you hire execute your vision?
They’ll move based on their version of it, not yours.

Marketing isn’t a magic fix -it’s a mirror.
It only amplifies what already exists (or doesn’t).

Get clear first. Then get loud.

🧠 Exercise: Define your Ideal Patient Profile
1️⃣ Demographics: Who are they? (Age range, lifestyle, occupation, spending habits)
2️⃣ Psychographics: What do they value most -convenience, confidence, connection, results?
3️⃣ Core Problem: What pain or frustration are they coming to you with?
4️⃣ Triple Threat: Why are you the best person to serve them? (Think of your 3 Superpowers -the traits, process, or experience that set your practice apart.)
5️⃣ Signature Result: How do they want to feel after working with you? (Smile, confidence, peace of mind, time back, etc.)

When you define who you serve, you stop wasting energy chasing everyone…
and start attracting exactly who your business was built for.

“Wait… that was a new patient? You didn’t even have to sell anything or explain it -your team did all of that, and you just got to walk in and start treatment?”

One of my shadows couldn’t believe it when she saw how our Le Patient Journey works. By the time I step into the room, the patient has already:

✅ Had their data collected
✅ Reviewed their problems + solutions
✅ Said yes to treatment & paid
✅ Scheduled their next visits

So when I walk in, I’m not explaining procedures for the first time. I’m not scrambling through charts. I’m not distracted.

I get to be fully present as their doctor. My team gets to shine in their ownership of the journey. & my patients feel the difference.

This is what practice ownership looks like when you stop being the bottleneck and start building systems.

10/01/2025

Before I opened my practice, I watched coworkers scramble every day trying to figure out lunch. Most days it ended in fast food and they’d come back sluggish. Which meant my performance (and patients’) suffered too.

That stuck with me. So when I built my own practice, I made protecting my team’s energy non-negotiable.

Every Wednesday, meals get delivered from Jetpack. One less decision → more focus, creativity, and presence for patients.

It’s a small investment with a big ROI: a supported team, a thriving culture, and care that feels different.

If you could add one benefit to your workplace, what would it be?

Right people. Right seats.

That’s the secret.

✅ Aligned with your core values

✅ In their Unique Ability

✅ Get it. Want it. Capacity to do it.

Hire, fire, review, and reward from there -your culture will thank you.

Save and send this to your leadership team the next time you’re making people decisions. 🧠

Meet Dr. Le

With the skills of a dentist and the style of an artist, Dr. Le was drawn to dentistry by her desire to build relationships, serve the community, and inspire others to lead healthy lives. Her passion lies in helping patients achieve their goals -big or small -in and out of the dental chair. Dr. Le deeply values positive patient interaction and thrives when providing education, knowledge, and preventive care that keeps everyone looking and feeling their best.

Born in Hawaii and raised in Jacksonville, FL, Dr. Le is a graduate of the University of North Florida and earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University (2017). It was during her schooling, as she observed multiple health fields and shadowed several dentists, that she realized patient relationships would be at the heart of her practice. As a practitioner with a growth mindset, Dr. Le furthered her work in the dental field in 2018 by joining the American Academy of Facial Aesthetics (AAFE) to further study facial anatomy and learn safe injectable techniques. Dr. Le excelled so highly in this venture that she now travels nationwide to train other dentists, as well as doctors, nurses and physicians assistants. She calls injectables the “sweet spot” of her profession, and loves how it allows patients to view dentistry in a different light.

This unique approach to apply a comprehensive, modern mindset to her practice matches Dr. Le’s vibrant and ambitious personality. When she’s not hustling to build her new dental business, Dr. Le loves to travel, try new foods with her fiance, and take walks with her 2 pups, Aiden and Maverick. As a testament to her active lifestyle, Dr. Le also enjoys biking at Jacksonville Beach, snowboarding in the Colorado mountains, and hiking up any mountain she can come across. Although she’s often on the go, Dr. Le still makes time to unwind because she truly believes in living with balance.

Dr. Le rises by lifting others. She volunteered at the Sulzbacher Center when she was a pre-dental student and continues to volunteer at the dental clinic until this day where she provides dental care for our homeless population. She also has partnered with and volunteers with Daniel Kids helping at-risk teenagers safely transition into independent living.
