Companion Services

Socialization – Engaging the client in activities such as reading, conversation, games, movies, TV viewing, and other appropriate physical activities. Transportation – Assistance in getting client to and from appointments, lunches, dinners, movies and shows. Home Management – Light cleaning, changing linens, laundry, washing dishes, trash removal and watering plants. Meal Preparation – Purchase of groceries, planning snacks and meals, and following dietary guidelines suggested by physicians or the specific condition of the client. Personal Care Services

Our trained Home Health Aids and Certified Nursing Assistants provide assistance with the following:

Toileting, Bathing, dressing, grooming etc. Mobility – Ambulating, transferring, positioning, lifting, performing range of motion exercises etc. Nutrition and Hydration - Including assistance with eating and drinking. Assistive Devices - Assistance with walkers, wheelchairs and other assistive devices. Medication Management (with proper certification). Nursing Care Services

Nursing care follows a specific plan of care under the supervision of a Physician or Nurse (RN/LPN)
Nursing care in the home can help provide a comforting solution to residing in a hospital, nursing home, or assisted living community. Services provided under nursing may include: catheterization, home infusion therapy, wound care, medication administration or management, and /or many other duties which require RN/LPN licensure.

St. Johns County is offering free sandbags:

📅 Date: Sunday, August 4
⏰ Time: 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. (noon)
📍 Location: Solomon Calhoun Community Center, auxiliary parking lot, 1300 Duval St., St. Augustine

🪣Note:
Bring your own transportation and shovels.
You’ll need to fill your own bags.
Limit of 20 bags per person.
Each sandbag weighs about 30 pounds.
