Rita brightens every shift with her positive attitude and is a true team player, working seamlessly with all her co-workers. Her dependability is unmatched, and outside of work, she's deeply involved in the vibrant local art scene!

🎶 A Special Visit at Goldwater Care Pontiac🎶
Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming Livingston County Sheriff Ryan Bohm to perform for our residents. Not only is Sheriff Bohm a talented singer, but he’s also a wonderful storyteller, giving each song a special introduction that draws everyone in.

Our residents love singing along with him, and each visit brings something new and exciting. Sheriff Bohm shared how much he enjoys coming to Goldwater, especially playing the classic tunes of country legends like Merle Haggard and Johnny Cash—songs that bring back fond memories and connect with our residents.

We’re so grateful for the joy and music he shares with us! 💛

🌽 A Sweet Taste of Summer at Goldwater Care Pontiac! 🌽
Shucking corn has become a favorite summertime tradition for our residents—and they truly look forward to it every year! 💛 This week, the smiles were even bigger thanks to a generous donation of dozens of ears of corn from the family member of one of our wonderful residents.

To show our appreciation, some of our talented community members created special collage art pieces—one of which is dedicated to the kind farmer who made this moment possible. 🎨👩‍🌾

Moments like these remind us of the strong bonds we share with our residents and their families. Thank you for helping us make memories that nourish both the body and soul! 💙

🇺🇸 Honoring Our Heroes at Goldwater Care Pontiac 🇺🇸
Here are some special moments from our recent Pinning Ceremony with Traditions Health.

Resident Calvin Koenig was honored in the presence of his POA, and Active Army Volunteer Jason Dean had the privilege of pinning him. He was also presented with a beautiful handmade blanket crafted from denim and fabric by generous volunteers, along with a certificate of appreciation. 🪖🎖️

🍪☕ Refreshments were served, and our other resident veterans were also recognized with pins as a heartfelt thank-you for their service.

We are so proud to celebrate the bravery and sacrifice of those who served our country. 💙

🎯🎈 Fun and Fitness at Goldwater Care Pontiac!
Our residents had a blast with the parachute and target games—a favorite around here! These activities aren’t just fun—they’re also a great way to promote upper body movement, coordination, and lots of smiles.
