🕷️ It’s Tick Bite Prevention Week!
As the weather warms up, ticks become more active—so let’s stay one step ahead. Whether you’re hiking, gardening, or just enjoying the outdoors, a few simple precautions can protect you and your family:
🌿 Protect Yourself Outdoors:
• Wear long sleeves, long pants, and light‑colored clothing
• Use EPA‑approved repellents (like DEET, picaridin, or IR3535)
• Walk in the center of trails and avoid tall grass
🏡 Protect Your Yard:
• Keep grass short and remove leaf litter
• Create a 3 ft. barrier of gravel or wood chips between your lawn and wooded areas
âś… After Being Outside:
• Do a full-body tick check—don’t forget behind knees, waistline, and scalp
• Shower soon after coming indoors
• Put clothes in the dryer on high heat for 10 minutes
If you find a tick, remove it promptly with fine‑tipped tweezers and monitor for symptoms.
Let’s stay safe, stay informed, and enjoy the outdoors responsibly! 🌞🕷️💚

🌱 March is National Nutrition Month!
This month reminds us how important it is to make informed food choices and build healthy habits — and that’s exactly what the WIC Program is designed to support.
National Nutrition Month encourages families to focus on balanced meals, nutrient‑rich foods, and healthy routines. WIC helps make those goals achievable by providing:
âś” Nutritious foods for pregnant and postpartum individuals, infants, and children under 5
âś” Personalized nutrition guidance
âś” Breastfeeding support
âś” Resources that make healthy eating more accessible for growing families
WIC puts National Nutrition Month into action every day by helping families build strong nutrition foundations that last a lifetime.
If you’re pregnant, postpartum, or have children under age 5, you may qualify for WIC services.

🌸 Celebrating Women’s History Month 🌸
This month, we honor the generations of women whose courage, breakthroughs, and resilience have shaped our world — and we also recognize the essential role women’s health clinics play in supporting that journey.
Women’s health clinics have long been pillars of care, advocacy, and empowerment. They provide vital services, education, and support that help women take charge of their health and their futures. From preventative care to compassionate guidance, these clinics uplift communities and carry forward the legacy of women who fought for access, equity, and dignity in healthcare. 💜
Here’s to the women making history — and to the clinics and caregivers who help them stay strong, informed, and supported every step of the way. 💪✨
