Due to strong weekend storms, the southern end of the trail was largely unpassable due to sections of massive fallen trees. The trail is NOW CLEAR from New Albany to Houston. Please continue to be safe and alert for debris when forecasts call for wind and storms. Rest assured we will be out clearing as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Please be aware due to the frequent storms passing through, we are experiencing numerous downed trees and debris on the trail. We are working as quickly as possible to clear the paths and appreciate your patience. We extend our thanks to the District municipalities and counties for their assistance in helping, where possible, with heavy equipment and manpower. Be cautious and safe. Thank you!

Pedaling for Hope is a ride benefiting Regional Rehab Center and the New Albany Main Street Association. There are 25-mile, 50-mile, and 100-kilometer options. All riders will receive a t-shirt. (Please register by Sunday, June 1st, to ensure an event t-shirt.) After the ride, we will enjoy food, music, and door prizes. FREE FOR KIDS UNDER 18!

Here is your chance for a “supported thru-hike” on the beautiful Tanglefoot Trail® with other hiking enthusiasts and wannabees. We will hike from New Albany to Houston with overnight stops to camp at Ecru, Algoma, and Houston.
On this inaugural trip, camping at these locations will be limited to 15 tents (sorry, no hammock sites available), which could equate to 15 – 30+ hikers.

Those that would like to hike along as day hikers are welcome as shuttle vans will be available so you can leave the Trail and lodge overnight elsewhere and return to the Trail the next morning. Day hikers are welcome to attend all afternoon and nighttime activities. Tent registration is limited to 15 tents, day hiker registrations are limited to 30. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Family friendly, recreational ride on the beautiful, shady Tanglefoot Trail® in northeast Mississippi.
Youth Ride Pass: Making it fun for the whole family? This ½ price Ride Pass is made just for your young riders ages 8-17.
Ride Along: Bringing a little one along? Kids ages 3-7 ride FREE with a paying adult.
Participants will receive an event t-shirt (guaranteed to those registered by May 12), and finisher medals for all who complete the event. A light lunch will be provided at the Gateway beginning at 11:30AM.
