United healthcare and UMR patients. Goodwin Chiropractic dropped out of the network with these insurance carriers in 2025. We have now confirmed it has worked to your benefit! Once you have met your out-of-network deductible, your policy actually covers your care at our clinics better. This will reduce your overall out-of-pocket expense with us. Good morning friends! First, i want you say thank you so much to all the people who have offered to donate to today's efforts to help feed some folks in need.
Im not a charity and I dont feel comfortable accepting Venmo or Cash app donations because those things are linked to my personal finances.
BUT I HAVE A FEW WAYS YOU CAN HELP!
1. If you know someone in need and they cant get to The Lot tonight or tomorrow, please bring them a meal.
2. Ill put the tip jar out both nights. I SEE DONT CARE IF THERE ISN'T A DIME IN THAT JAR, SO PLEASE DONT FEEL OBLIGATED!! If yall end up donating more than we need, I will either donate to the Food Bank or put the funds towards an outside food pantry that'll keep the food safe.
3. If anyone wants to come by tonight or tomorrow with helpful supplies or drinks etc, im sure someone would really appreciate it.
❗️❗️❗️ Your power doesn't have to be out for you to come get some help! I know that everyone spent a lot of money this week on supplies for the storm and I know that put people in tight financial positions, so dont feel like you cant come.
Im gonna make a Chicken Hibachi (veg heavy) dish tonight. I will also keep yall up to date on what we have in supplies as best as I can.
Last thing. I really appreciate the compliments, but I'm in no way clout chasing and I feel a little uncomfortable with the praise. Thank you....but also, give those kind words to a stranger today. This has been a hard week for everyone and I know someone needs to hear it 💙

Pontotoc County Schools will return to a regular schedule tomorrow, Tuesday, February 3rd. We are looking forward to seeing all our students back in the classrooms!

We understand that some members of our community may still be without electricity or water. If your family is currently without power or water, please reach out to your student’s school to notify them of your situation - please note - calls may not be answered until tomorrow. School contact information is available on our website and social media pages (as well as the included pic with this post) and administrators will work with you directly to ensure your student is supported during this time.
