💗 A Powerful Reminder to Listen to Your Body 💗

In a recent Vogue feature, 37-year-old Bridget Bahl shared how her IVF journey led to an unexpected breast cancer diagnosis. Her story is a powerful reminder that breast cancer doesn’t only affect older women - and that any new change deserves attention.

Even when symptoms seem related to hormones or other treatments, it’s always worth getting checked. Early detection can make all the difference.

At The Center for Women’s Health, we’re here to provide compassionate, expert breast imaging - including mammography, breast ultrasound, and DEXA scans - to help you stay proactive about your health.

📞 Call us: 912-303-5470 to schedule your screening.

Early detection saves lives - and it starts with awareness.
Recent studies show that breast cancer rates are rising among younger women, underscoring how important it is to understand your personal risk factors and talk to your provider about when to begin screening.

At The Center for Women’s Health, we’re proud to use Hologic 3D mammography, the most advanced technology available for earlier and more accurate detection - even in dense breast tissue.

It’s never too early to be proactive about your breast health.
Call 912.303.5470 to discuss your screening options today.

Being at high risk could qualify you for early, potentially life-saving screening.

Did you know that nearly half of women over 40 have dense breast tissue?

Dense breast tissue is common and completely normal, but it can make it more difficult to detect cancer on a mammogram. That’s why our team at The Center for Women’s Health uses advanced 3D mammography technology, allowing our radiologists to view breast tissue layer by layer for clearer, more accurate results.

If you’ve been told you have dense breast tissue, don’t worry - it just means you need to stay consistent with your annual screenings and follow any recommendations your radiologist provides.

We also recommend downloading this helpful guide from the National Breast Cancer Foundation to learn more about what dense breast tissue means and what steps you can take for your health:

Many women feel nervous waiting for mammogram results - a feeling often called “scanxiety.”

“With 3D mammography, we can see through overlapping tissue with much greater detail,” says Dr. Jessica Wilder of The Center for Women’s Health. “This allows us to detect problems earlier while reducing false alarms and unnecessary callbacks.”

For a routine screening mammogram, you don’t need an order from your primary care physician. Call today to schedule: 912.303.5470

Did you know? Up to 20% of women who suffer hip fractures die within a year of the fracture. Early detection is key to preventing the devastating effects of osteoporosis.

At The Center for Women’s Health, we use DEXA scans (dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry) to measure bone density and identify risk before fractures happen.

“Bone health often goes overlooked until it’s too late,” says Dr. Jessica Wilder, fellowship-trained mammographer and women’s health specialist. “DEXA scans give us the ability to catch osteoporosis early so we can protect independence, mobility, and quality of life for years to come.”

Prioritize your bone health today. Call us at 912.303.5470 to schedule your DEXA scan.

Today we honor and remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and the courage shown in the face of tragedy. Our thoughts are with the families, survivors, and all who continue to carry this day in their hearts. May we always remember the strength that comes from coming together as a country in the face of immense tragedy.
