Welcome back, Dr. Mitchell! 💙 Dr. Mitchell joined Atlantic Radiology Associates in July 2025 after completing his diagnostic radiology residency at Memorial Health University Medical Center and his neuroradiology fellowship at Emory University. His areas of interest include imaging/follow-up of primary CNS neoplasms, head & neck cancer imaging, and epilepsy imaging.

After serving as Chief Resident at Memorial University Medical Center, he knew he wanted to return to the group as an attending radiologist early in his training.

“I loved the education and training I received from the Atlantic Radiology attending physicians, and the friendships that developed over my four years in residency. I knew that Atlantic Radiology and Savannah would offer the perfect collegial atmosphere to grow as a physician, and treat patients suffering from complicated disorders, while also having the opportunity educate future radiologists in the Memorial Health residency program.”

Dr. Mitchell is accompanied by his wife, Sara Mitchell, who is a labor and delivery nurse. During their free time together, they enjoy playing golf, exploring Savannah’s many amazing restaurants & parks, as well as playing with their dogs.
