What a wonderful day spent celebrating Easter with our amazing residents at the residential care .🐣💐
Filled with laughter, great company, and lots of smiles, our Easter party was one to remember. From the exciting race to find all the hidden eggs 🥚🏃‍♂️ to enjoying delicious food and sweet treats 🍰🍭, every moment was full of joy.
And of course… we can’t forget our sneaky Easter Bunny hopping around making the day extra special! 🐰✨
Days like this remind us how special our little community truly is. 💛

Easter at Oakdale Assisted Living was one to remember.

The room stayed full, the snacks kept going, and even after it was “over,” nobody was in a hurry to leave.

We had eggs, prizes, and a little friendly competition! Big Congratulations to our winners! We even had a surprise visit from the Easter Bunny that brought plenty of smiles.

Just a really good day spent enjoying each other’s company.

🐰💛 Easter fun has been in full swing here at Oakdale Skilled!

Yesterday our residents got creative painting the cutest bunny canvases (just look at those personalities! 🎨🐇).
Today we kept the fun going with a lively game of bean bag tic tac toe—lots of laughs and friendly competition!

And to top it all off, we’re sharing some sweet moments from Saturday’s Easter egg hunt, where residents got to hold and pet our special guest… Reba the bunny! 🐰💕

Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with us and spend time with our residents—it truly means so much. Our residents enjoyed every minute of being outside, seeing all the smiling faces, and visiting with the kids and the Easter Bunny. 💛

A special thank you to our amazing friends at Crown Hospice of Poplar Bluff and Legacy Hospice for the fun games, delicious goodies, and for bringing sweet Reba the bunny to visit! 🐇

We are so grateful for such a wonderful community! 💐

Today Beth and Krystal with our Assisted and residential care facilities and had the incredible opportunity to volunteer with the SEMO Food Bank in Sikeston, MO, where we helped pack 200 boxes for elderly members of our community. 🤍

It was such a humbling experience to be part of something that directly impacts so many lives right here in Southeast Missouri. Organizations like the SEMO Food Bank are on the front lines every day, working to fight hunger and make sure our neighbors don’t have to wonder where their next meal is coming from.

The reality is, hunger hits closer to home than many of us realize. In Southeast Missouri, thousands of individuals and families face food insecurity and sadly, about 1 in every 8 senior households struggles with access to consistent, nutritious food.

Being able to give back in even a small way reminds us just how important community, compassion, and service truly are. We are so grateful to have partnered with such an amazing organization and look forward to continuing to support efforts like this in the future.

🍀 St. Patrick’s Day Fun at Our Skilled Nursing Facility 🍀

We had a shamrockin’ good time celebrating St. Patrick’s Day! 💚
Our day started with a fun game of “What’s in the Bag?” with Visiting Nurse Association of Southeast Missouri & VNA Hospice, where residents had to guess items by touch only—let’s just say the leprechaun beard had everyone stumped! 😄

We were also treated to a special visit from Cliff, who taught us about bagpipes and played beautiful music that filled the building. 🎶

The fun didn’t stop there! Our department heads brought the laughs during the Lucky Leprechaun Feeding Frenzy—our bellies were hurting from laughing so hard! 😂

A big thank you to our amazing volunteers for the delicious food and all their help making the day extra special. 💛

🍀 Happy St. Patrick’s Day from all residents at Residential Care ! 🍀
Today our home was filled with laughter, color, and a little bit of Irish magic! 💚 Our residents enjoyed a fun-filled day with silly riddles, cheerful jokes, and a festive backdrop perfect for snapping smiles and memories 📸✨
We served up a delicious spread featuring fresh, bright veggies, creamy guacamole dip 🥑, sweet treats to satisfy every craving 🍪🍰, and of course… our famous Leprechaun Punch 🍹🍀 (a resident favorite!)
Here’s a little riddle we shared today: 🌈 What kind of bow can’t be tied?
