A continuum of care is achieved with the wound care that we provide and coordinate for the patient through a variety of settings. Our out-patient wound care services are currently offered at the Baylor Comprehensive Wound Center at Irving-Coppell. For wound care patients requiring hospitalizations, our physicians have privileges at Baylor Medical Center at Irving, Baylor Regional Medical Center at

Grapevine, Baylor University Medical Center, Las Colinas Medical Center and Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation of Grapevine. We can also direct care at home through Home Health agencies when appropriate.

Angie Turner King (1905-2004) was the grandchild of Virginia slaves. Angie lived with her difficult maternal grandmother for a while before reuniting with her illiterate father. King's father insisted she go to school. Angie worked for her education by washing dishes and waiting tables. By 1931, she received a master's degree in and . King did not produce much published research, but what she did do was create a remarkable legacy of dozens of mathematicians and physicists who changed America.
