Laser works BEST on DARK hair 👏🏼

Why? Because the laser targets melanin — the pigment in your hair. Darker hair contains more melanin, which means the laser can absorb the energy more effectively and damage the follicle to reduce future growth.

So if you have black or brown hair, you’re likely an ideal candidate ✨

Blonde, red, gray, or very light hair contains much less melanin, making it difficult for the laser to generate enough heat to effectively treat the follicle. Science still plays by its rules 🤓

Here is the honest version. Some tingling during the treatment. A few days of peeling and redness after. And then genuinely better skin on the other side. Clearer, smoother, more even.

We had TOO much fun (imagine that 😉) having Jackson Media, LLC at Aesthetic Nirvana today as we officially kicked off her skin journey with us starting with our MDF laser treatment! This treatment is one of our pro-aging go-to’s for improving pigmentation, brightening overall complexion, supporting collagen remodeling, and promoting healthier skin!

This Nurses Week feels a little extra special for us 🤍

We are so incredibly proud and excited for one of our very own nurses, Emma, as she begins her journey into the nursing world as a Medical Intensive Care Unit nurse. Watching Emma grow over the last few years while working at Aesthetic Nirvana throughout nursing school has been such an honor. From balancing long days, clinicals, studying, and work, to now stepping into such an impactful role caring for critical patients — we could not be more proud of the nurse and woman she has become. She will forever be part of the Aesthetic Nirvana family, and we know she is going to do amazing things!✨✨
