Today is the day! Please come visit Project SAFER at the Clallam County Fair. We are located under the grandstands and will be there from 10am to 4pm.

This event is intended for individuals who experience developmental disabilities, their families and supports to interact with First Responders in a safe and fun environment!

Come to the YELLOW gate (west side) and pick-up your entrance bracelet(s) at the Project SAFER check-in table!

If you did not pre-register, please come to the Project SAFER check-in table located outside the yellow gate at the Clallam County Fair and let them know you are attending the Project SAFER Event!

We're excited to share a new resource to support individuals who experience intellectual and developmental disabilities in our community.

Project SAFER now has a Response Form available for individuals who experience intellectual and developmental disabilities which can provide important information to improve interactions and outcomes with First Responders. This information will be shared with First Responders—such as Police, Fire and EMS—so they are better equipped to provide the right support during an encounter.

✅ Helps First Responders understand how best to communicate and assist individuals who experience intellectual and developmental disabilities
✅ Promotes safety, understanding and dignity
✅ Voluntary and confidential

This small step can make a BIG difference during critical moments.
