Thanksgiving is just two days away, and if you’re anything like me, you’re juggling cooking, tidying, keeping everyone organized, and praying the pies behave themselves. 🥧😅

All those little things that make a home feel warm?
Those are the same kinds of everyday tasks our caregivers help with — quietly, kindly, and with a whole lot of heart.

As we head into the holiday, we’re grateful for the caregivers who make independence possible… and for the families who trust us to be part of their story.

Accepting care is about Strength, not weakness.

This is something I’ve seen over and over in our community — people want to stay strong, stay capable, and stay home. But asking for help can feel uncomfortable or even “wrong.”

The truth?
Getting support doesn’t take away independence… it protects it.

I made this short video to talk honestly about what it really means to accept care, and why it’s one of the strongest decisions a person or family can make.
