With digital x-ray equipment and advance procedures, our friendly staffs and HOMETOWN doctors are able to provide quick, convenient, and thorough immediate care for a wide range of illnesses and injuries, ranging from coughs, colds, and infections to burns and cuts needing stitches and broken bones. In cases where more advanced treatment is necessary, First Response Urgent Care will connect you with the medical facilities and staff that can accommodate your needs. FRUC is open year-round, closing only on four major holidays. Our hometown Turkey Trot has become a cherished tradition, bringing our doctors and work family together with the community in a celebration of health and movement.

The FRUC Health & Athletics Team proudly represents Southeast Texas, positive role models in our communities of Jefferson, Orange, and Hardin Counties. Dr. Nguyen, in particular, is dedicated to serving his patients and the community for the long term, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a healthy heart by balancing work and life.

November 28, 2024 - What a wonderful Thanksgiving morning with our Hometown Doctors and the FRUC Health & Athletics Team!! Our local SRS Turkey Trot made history with a record 2,465 registrations—50% of whom were first-time trotters! An incredible way to unite as a community!

We are thankful for another year of serving the SETX community and giving back through our continued partnership with Sea Rim Striders to sponsor and promote healthy habits.
